  • Publication number: 20150329215
Abstract: A ram air turbine having a turbine with one or more blades, a strut having a drive section and a generator adapter section, a turbine shaft and bevel gear located within the drive section, a generator positioned within the generator adapter section of the strut and comprising an exciter and permanent magnet generator in the a turbine side, and a driveshaft having a pinion gear that engages with the bevel gear, wherein the driveshaft is removably coupled to the generator. The strut includes a cone positioned between the drive section and the generator adapter section, and the permanent magnet generator and the exciter are positioned inside of the cone of the strut. The generator utilizes a generator cover and a generator bearing, and the bearing engages with the driveshaft and the generator. The permanent magnet generator and the exciter are positioned within the cone of the generator cover.

  • Publication number: 20060277588
Abstract: A method of making a Web-DVD which integrates computer-based content, such as Web links/HTML content or images, with DVD-Video content by using a graphical user interface (GUI) is disclosed. The method provides a software application that allows a developer to add highly integrated computer-based content, such as, but not limited to, HTML content such as Web site links and images, PDF files and/or Power Point files, to a predetermined DVD-Video content with the developer using the GUI to create a Web-DVD instead of using complex JavaScript or HTML commands or programming language. The software application writes a series of DVD-ROM files, based on the developer's selection, e.g., “point and click,” of the GUI options, that create an interaction between the DVD-Video content and the computer-based content or HTML content.

  • Publication number: 20040126201
Abstract: Color-coded staples and a method of associating staples with electrical cabling is disclosed in which the staples are colored according to the gauge wire in the cables to be secured by the staples. The cables include electrically conductive wire of a particular gauge size. A color scheme is identified for the exterior of the cables in which one cable is colored to represent its associated gauge wire and another cable having a different gauge wire is colored a different color to represent its associated gauge wire. Preferably, there are at least two different staple sizes, each size has staples colored to match the different colored cables that can be secured by that size staple.

  • Patent number: 5648897
Abstract: A control system having an operator control unit and a remote unit having a plurality of motors includes a control subsystem for controlling the operator control unit and the remote unit. A communication subsystem coupled to the control subsystem exchanges information between the operator control unit and the remote unit. A user input subsystem provides user commands to the control subsystem and an actuator subsystem controls the motors in the remote unit according control signals from the control subsystem. A sensor subsystem provides sensor information at the remote unit to the control subsystem and a display subsystem displays the information from the remote unit.
