Abstract: There are described various embodiments for devices, systems, and methods for security threat detection and reaction using multi-layered decentralized federated learning approach, for use in various combinations of security systems, including facial recognition systems, biometric recognition systems, gesture recognition systems, voice recognition systems, network traffic pattern monitoring systems, security systems using Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, and home automation security systems. By combining federated learning system with a local interpretation layer, it is possible for each local node in a system to interpret anonymized federated learning results into highly personalized results, which can then be used to trigger highly personalized actions. The multi-layered federated learning threat detection and response system therefore optimizes for both enhanced privacy and customization.
