  • Patent number: 8991844
Abstract: A wheel and hub assembly for a vehicle includes a clutch dog pivotally attached to a wheel. A toothed ratchet wheel is attached to a pedal crank and positioned adjacent to the clutch dog. A hub cover includes a protrusion. The hub cover is attached to the wheel in a sliding fashion so as to slide between an unlocked position, where the protrusion engages the clutch dog so as to prevent the clutch dog from engaging the toothed ratchet wheel when the pedals are turned in a forward direction; and a locked position, where the protrusion does not engage the clutch dog so that the clutch dog engages the toothed ratchet wheel when the pedals are turned in a forward direction.

  • Patent number: 8827282
Abstract: A storage bag system for a wagon includes a collapsible storage bag that is movable between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. The storage bag system also includes a connector for attaching the collapsible storage bag to a sidewall of the wagon. As a result, the invention provides additional hauling and storage capacity for a wagon via a collapsible storage bag that may be moved to a collapsed configuration.

  • Patent number: 8596649
Abstract: A riding toy provides a spin-out feature. The riding toy includes a frame, a steerable front wheel mounted to the frame and a rear wheel mounted to the frame. A rear carriage is pivotally attached to the frame so as to pivot about a generally horizontal axis. A caster is mounted to the rear carriage so as to pivot about a generally vertical axis. A lever is pivotally attached to the frame. A link has a leading end pivotally connected to the lever and a trailing end pivotally connected to the rear carriage. As a result, the riding toy may be changed from a traditional configuration, where the rear wheel of the riding toy contacts a riding surface upon which the riding toy is being ridden, to a spin-out configuration, where the caster lifts the rear wheel of the riding toy off of the riding surface, by pulling the lever.

  • Publication number: 20060290560
Abstract: A method and apparatus for evaluating whether one or more threat sources is actively tracking an object, such as an aircraft. A tracking system may analyze information regarding signals received from a source and provide a track indication that the source is actively tracking the object without adjusting the dwell arrangement of the scan strategy of the receiver. A track indication may be provided where a sample count of signal intercepts from the source is greater than a track count during a window. A break track indication representing that the source is not actively tracking the object may be provided when a number of signal intercepts from the source is less than a break track count during a window.

  • Publication number: 20050052312
Abstract: A system time thresholds dwells executed by an electromagnetic signal receiver. The system includes a detection module and a processing module. The detection module receives electromagnetic signals from a surrounding environment. The electromagnetic signals are chronologically segregated into a plurality of dwells each with a dwell time. The processing module controls the scanning of the surrounding environment. The processing module sets dwell parameters and determines whether to skip the execution of particular dwells. The processing module receives data about the signals from the detection module.

  • Publication number: 20020084592
Abstract: A fluid and/or gas treatment unit containing a dynamic rotating assembly for passage of a fluid and/or gas therethrough comprises a housing having a generally cylindrical body and end walls, and a generally cylindrical member rotatable in the chamber and having a peripheral wall and end surfaces. A shaft extends coaxially through coaxial apertures in the housing end walls, and through a coaxial passage in the rotatable member with which it is engaged to rotate as a unitary assembly. Adjacent the inner surface of each end wall of the housing are, seriatim, a resiliently deflectable biasing element, a generally circular wear plate and a resiliently compressible, generally circular sealing member between the wear plate and the cylindrical member and rotatable therewith. A generally circular bearing member extends about the generally circular sealing member and the cylindrical member and is rotatable therewith.
