  • Patent number: 10712427
Abstract: Systems and methods are presented for allocating resources. In particular, the systems and methods may receive and process a requested SP state to identify for first SP channel information regarding (i) signal processing resources required and (ii) state priority, based on a first state table defining for each of a plurality of states for the first SP channel information regarding signal processing resources required and state priority information; and based on the identified information, arbitrating as between a current state and a requested state. Systems and methods are also provided for fast blanking override of a requested signal processing (SP) state. In particular, the systems and methods may receive a blanking input and automatically override a requested SP state for a first SP channel based on using a first state table to determine blank susceptibility information for the requested SP state.

  • Patent number: 9357867
Abstract: A remotely controlled adjustable mailbox support uses a stepping motor, controlled by a microprocessor/CPU, to raise a mailbox platform above a level where the mailbox can be damaged by a passing snow plow. Based on remote command signals received by a internal communications module, the time and duration when the mailbox is raised can be controlled, as well as the height to which it is raised. An optional temporary rf-signal over-ride capability for mail carriers and/or snow plow operators is also provided, as well as control application software for wireless mobile devices.

  • Patent number: 8915475
Abstract: An adjustable mailbox post comprises a vertical support member rotatably attached to a cross-member. The cross-member extends through a transverse channel in the support member, such that a forward arm of the cross-member extends from the forward side of the support member, and a rear arm of the cross-member extends from the rear side of the support member. The forward arm supports a mailbox platform, to which a mailbox can be attached. Using a spring mechanism and/or an extendable strut, the forward arm of the post can be lifted from a horizontal position appropriate for mail delivery to an elevated position, in which the mailbox is out of the reach of passing snow-plows. Latching mechanisms are used to secure the forward arm of the post in either the horizontal delivery position or the elevated safety position.

  • Publication number: 20050048157
Abstract: The invention relates to a feed roll assembly for reducing leakage of an elastomeric material in a feed section of an extruder machine. A shell, feed roll seal plates, and feed roll end plates are used to reduce the leakage of elastomeric material. Elastomeric material is redirected back to the feed section through the use of a varying bore diameter of the shell and grooves contained in both the feed roll seal plates and the feed roll end plates. The shell, feed roll seal plates, feed roll end plates, and a feed roll scraper are each coated with a solid, dry lubricant coating to reduce friction. The invention provides desirable feedback of overflow elastomeric material and permits a retrofitting of the feed roll assembly to existing extruder machines.
