  • Publication number: 20240123128
Abstract: A fluid treatment plant has a filter module including at least a first filter and a second filter connected in series and connectable to a supply of fluid. A pump is fluidly connected to the filter module and a controller with a fluid quality sensor is connected to detect a quality of the fluid between the first filter and the second filter. A filter module detector is connected to the controller configured to uniquely detect a filter module connected to the pump, and the controller is controls the pump responsively to a signal from the fluid quality sensor and the module detector. The controller is configured to continue pumping based on output of the quality sensor and/or based on output from the filter module detector.

  • Publication number: 20240100609
Abstract: A holesaw system comprises a holesaw including a base and a generally cylindrical wall with a proximal end coupled to the base and a distal end with a cutting edge; a pilot drill bit including a front cutting tip, a rear shank portion, and an intermediate portion between the front cutting tip and the rear shank portion; and an arbor coupleable to the holesaw and to the pilot drill bit. The arbor is configured to be operable in a first mode in which the holesaw and the pilot drill bit are rotatable in unison to form a hole in a workpiece and in a second mode in which the pilot drill bit is rotatable independently of the holesaw to remove a plug of material from the holesaw.

  • Patent number: 5402535
Abstract: The restraining inflatable neck guard is adapted to be located around a person's neck when deflated. A source of compressed gas is coupled to the neck guard for inflating the guard. A normally closed electrically actuated valve is provided for releasing the compressed gas from the source for flow to the inflatable neck guard when actuated. A sensor is provided for sensing acceleration/deceleration forces in three mutually perpendicular directions and for producing electrical outputs having levels which are proportional to the forces sensed. A threshold device compares the electrical outputs with a threshold to actuate the valve when either of the electrical outputs reaches the threshold. The sensor may be employed to sense acceleration/deceleration forces in one direction only. Aircraft or vehicle systems may be used to initiate the inflation sequence. The restraining inflatable neck guard is designed to maintain distance between the neck and collar throughout the inflation process.
