    Abstract: A forcing tool is provided in which a lobe aperture incorporates opposed lobe pairs having driving flanks. Distal ends of the driving flanks define a spacing consistent with the width of a dowel or tang to be utilized in a twisted-dowel joint. The aperture incorporates location recesses to allow the dowel or tang to pass through the aperture and then through twisting create a lock condition.
