  • Patent number: 11917069
Abstract: Secure user authentication using a OTP involve pre-storing an application on a first device for generating a valid OTP for the user responsive to receiving entry of a valid PIN, no part of the valid PIN is stored on the first device and pre-storing on a back-end server the valid PIN and a valid shared secret for the user. Upon receiving entry of a purported PIN, a purported shared secret is dynamically synthesized on the first device by the application based on the purported PIN and a purported OTP is generated on the first device. When entry of the purported OTP is received by the server in an attempt to log on the server from a second device, the server cryptographically calculates a window of OTPs, and logs on to the server from the second device is allowed if the calculated window of OTPs corresponds to the received OTP.

  • Publication number: 20210345947
Abstract: A method and system for augmented neurologic rehabilitation (ANR) of a patient is disclosed. The ANR system generates rhythmic auditory stimulus (RAS) and a visual augmented reality (AR) scene that are synchronized according to a common beat tempo and output to the patient during a therapy session. Sensor worn by the patient capture biomechanical data relating to repetitive movements performed by the patient in sync with the AR visual content and RAS. A critical thinking algorithm analyzes the sensor data to determine a spatial and temporal relationship of the patient's movements relative to the visual and audio elements and determine a level of entrainment of the patient and progression toward clinical/therapeutic goals. Additionally, a 3D AR modelling module configures the processor to dynamically adjust the augmented-reality visual and audio content output to the patient based on the determined level of entrainment and whether a training goal has been achieved.

  • Publication number: 20180048817
Abstract: Methods and apparatus improve static region detection in an imaging pipeline. An imaging pipeline may perform detection of static regions of an image at multiple stages of the pipeline. For example, as static regions may be eliminated from further processing by the imaging pipeline, static region detection performed at an early stage of the pipeline may provide for maximized power savings. As images early in the pipeline may contain artifacts inhibiting detection of some static regions, additional static region detection may be performed after further image processing. For example, static region detection may be performed for a second time after some filtering is applied to images in the pipeline. Regions previously characterized as dynamic may be characterized as static later in the pipeline due to a reduction of noise for example provided by the filters, and differences between the static region detection at different positions within the imaging pipeline.

  • Publication number: 20060189852
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for monitoring a physiological parameter of players engaged in a sports activity. The invention further relates to a method for evaluating and treating players when the parameter exceeds a predetermined level. The system measures, calculates and records the parameter and then alerts trained personnel to apply the method to evaluate and treat players. When the system is configured for use with football, hockey or lacrosse, the system generally includes reporting units, a sideline controller, a database, and a signaling device, such as a wireless personal digital assistant. The physiological parameter data measured and collected by the reporting units are processed by the sideline controller for meaningful analysis or use. When the physiological parameter(s) exceeds a predetermined threshold level the sideline controller generates an alert that is received by the signaling device, which is typically worn by sideline personnel, such as coaching staff or trainers.

  • Publication number: 20060074338
Abstract: The present invention provides a system for monitoring a physiological parameter of players engaged in a sporting activity. The system includes a plurality of reporting units, a controller, and a signaling device. The reporting unit has an arrangement of sensing devices that measure the physiological parameter of an individual player and generate parameter data. The controller receives the parameter data transmitted from each reporting unit and then processes the parameter data to calculate a parameter result. When the parameter result exceeds a predetermined value, the controller communicates with a signaling device that provides an alert to sideline personnel to monitor the player(s) in question. The system also includes a remote storage device for holding historical data collected by the system which permits subsequent analysis.

  • Publication number: 20060056545
Abstract: The invention is a signal processing system and method having increased bandwidth. An embodiment of the invention is a method of processing an analog input signal. The analog input signal is split into a first set of signals. The first set of signals are filtered. The first set of signals are digitized to form a second set of signals. The second set of signals are filtered to form a third set of signals. The third set of signals are combined to form a combined signal by adding the signals in the third set signals together to form a digital version of the analog input signal.
