  • Publication number: 20220168546
Abstract: The disclosed tube securement device (100) attaches to the patient's body (200) and to the tube (300), while allowing for a section of the tube to be detached from the tube securement device. The tube securement device comprises a backing (110) with adhesive coated sections (120, 130). The backing comprises a first end section (120), a second end section (130), and a midsection (140), separating the first end section from the second end section. The tube securement device further comprises a first adhesive (122) on at least a portion of the first major surface (112) of the first end section (120), a second adhesive (132) on at least a portion of the first major surface (112) of the second end section (130), and wherein the first major surface (112) of the midsection (140) is free of tacky adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20220160920
Abstract: The disclosed sterilization monitoring device comprises a perfusion channel with a chemical indicating composition disposed in fluid communication with the perfusion channel. Exposure to a sterilant creates a laterally moving front across the chemical indicating composition in the perfusion channel.

  • Publication number: 20220118227
Abstract: The disclosed tube securement device (100) is adjustable in size to fit varying sizes and shapes of a part of the body. The tube securement device (100) comprises a backing (110) forming a first end section (120), a second end section (130), and a midsection (140). A first adhesive (122) is on at least a portion of the first major surface (112) of the first end section (120). A second adhesive (132) is on at least a portion the second end section (130). A first perforation line (123) is through the first end section (120) to form a first removable portion (124). In use, the first removable portion (124) can be separated from the first end section (120).

  • Publication number: 20220000407
Abstract: Dry electrodes are electrodes for attachment to human skin without skin preparation or the use of electrolyte gels. The electrode includes a substrate, electrically conductive particles with at least one point, in contact with the substrate, a supporting layer that envelopes the electrically conductive particles with points that protrude from the supporting layer, and an electrical connector. Some electrodes have an electrically conductive substrate, other electrodes have an electrically conductive supporting layer.

  • Patent number: 7999023
Abstract: A process is provided for preparing a pressure sensitive adhesive hydrogel, comprising: (A) providing an oligomeric precursor, the oligomeric precursor comprising a polyether moiety endcapped with ethylenic unsaturation, the oligomeric precursor being associated with methacrylic acid; (B) providing an ethylenically unsaturated crosslinking agent selected from the group consisting of difunctional ethylenically unsaturated monomer, trifunctional ethylenically unsaturated monomer and combinations of the foregoing; (C) free radically curing the oligomeric precursor and the ethylenically unsaturated crosslinking agent in water at a pH between about 3.5 and about 9 to provide the pressure sensitive adhesive hydrogel.

  • Patent number: 7948332
Abstract: A radio frequency (RF) channelizer includes a first four-port balun, a second four part balun and a pair of filters coupled between the first and second four port baluns. The filters operate such that RF signals having a frequency within a desired frequency band (so-called “in-band” signals) can propagate between the first and second baluns (e.g. from the first balun to the second balun) while signals having a frequency outside the desired frequency band (so-called “out-of-band signals”) are reflected back to the first balun. One filter reflects out-of-band signals while maintaining the magnitude and phase of the signal (i.e. with a 0 degree phase shift), while the other filter reflects out-of-band signals with a phase-reversal (i.e. with a 180 degree phase shift). With this approach, the reflected signals propagate to a sum port (or even mode port) of the first balun. In this way, the balun-filter combination results in a channelizer which separates signals into different frequency bands.
