  • Patent number: 9971037
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for monitoring carrier phase anomalies in a range finding system. A relative carrier phase between first and second antennas is predicted as a function of a relative position between the two antennas. A relative carrier phase between the first and second receivers is measured based upon at least one transmitted signal received at each of the first and second antennas. An anomaly detection metric is calculated as a difference between the measured relative carrier phase and the predicted relative carrier phase. It is then determined if an anomaly is present according to the anomaly detection metric.

Date of Patent: May 15, 2018
    Assignee: Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation

  • Patent number: 8346466
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining heading of a traveling vehicle are provided. The systems and methods employ an image system to capture and match multiple distinctive features of an image area at a first and second point in time and to determine unit-vectors associated with the multiple distinctive features. A global positioning system (GPS) provides a translation vector for the first and second point and time and a coupled processor employs the unit-vectors and the translation vector to provide a corrected heading.

  • Patent number: 7916022
Abstract: An agricultural portal system for use along a transportation route upon which agricultural containers having a responding device are transported, the agricultural portal system including at least one movable support, at least one identification system connected to the movable support and a communications system. The at least one identification system is directed toward the transportation route. The at least one identification system receives a signal from the responding device thereby obtaining information about the agricultural containers. The communications system communicates the information.

  • Publication number: 20080030320
Abstract: An agricultural data system including a vehicle, a lift mechanism associated with the vehicle, an RFID reader and a weight sensor system. The RFID reader is associated with the vehicle and/or the lift mechanism and provides for the reading of an RFID tag on an agricultural produce container. The weight sensor system is associated with the vehicle and/or the lift mechanism and it determines a weight of the container.
