Publication number: 20240091796Abstract: A showerhead system with a normally open, temperature controlled first water valve coupled between a hot water source supply inlet and a purge outlet. The first water valve is configured to move from its normally open position to a closed position to restrict water passing from the hot water source supply inlet to the purge outlet when the temperature controlled water valve reaches a predetermined temperature. In a first mode, the first water valve purges water from the hot water source supply inlet through the purge outlet until the thermal actuator reaches the predetermined temperature. In a second mode, the first water valve blocks water entering the first water valve from passing through the purge outlet toward the showerhead outlet. In an optional third mode, a normally closed, manual second water valve is open and passes water through the showerhead outlet.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 28, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Charles Lord, Jason Swanson, Troy Sherman, Jeffrey Doss

Publication number: 20070194141Abstract: A multifunctional restrictive valve for controlling the flow of water therethrough. The valve has a main body with a flow channel through the main body. The main body receives water upstream thereof through an inlet port and passes it out through an outlet port at the downstream end of the body. A flow control assembly is located in the flow channel and includes a temperature sensor/actuator acting on a piston to move, when the temperature sensor heats up the piston, to block water flow control ports. The flow control assembly also includes an override feature wherein the piston is located within a slide and the flow control ports are located in the slide. By moving the slide away from the piston when the piston is blocking the flow control ports, the temperature sensor and piston may be overridden and flow may resume through the main body.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2007Publication date: August 23, 2007Inventors: Michael Brown, John Lockhart, Jeffrey Doss

Patent number: 6433274Abstract: Two juxtaposed retraction reels automatically and independently retract an output power plug cable and an input power cable connected to an accessory power input plug. The cables are connected to a power converter for converting electrical power to voltage and current power levels for use in lap top computers and so on. The input plug has a second Em power plug / auto-air adapter mechanically and ohmically coupled thereto for use with other power sources such as in airplanes and so on. A slider holds the plug tip to the carrying housing in the carrying mode, the retraction reel holding the other power input plug end to the housing via its cable.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2000Date of Patent: August 13, 2002Assignee: Mobility Electronic, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Doss, Charles Lord

Patent number: 5838539Abstract: A docking module can electrically connect a portable computer to a plurality of ancillary support devices. Engagement devices can alternately pull and push the portable computer relative to the housing. A sliding deck projects from the housing and is adapted to underlie and pull the portable computer toward the housing. The module has a plurality of electrically interconnected connectors mounted on panels on opposite sides of a housing. These panels are separately mounted at front and rear openings in the housing. A standard blank panel can have holes formed in it in a variety connector patterns to accommodate a variety of portable computers. Accordingly, the module is readily adapted to a portable computer by selecting a mounting pattern for the connectors on one of the panels, without a need to modify the housing. Also the docking module can be customized by using a standard reciprocating mechanism and selecting a customized mating implement to attach to the reciprocating mechanism.Type: GrantFiled: November 8, 1995Date of Patent: November 17, 1998Assignee: Electronics Accessory Specialists InternationalInventors: Jeffrey Doss, Roy Kenneth Fischer, Randall Ronald Toltzman, Christopher Harold Davey
