  • Publication number: 20140136477
Abstract: A method for monitoring and assessing a conditioning/reconditioning process of products, such as new or used cars of a dealership, includes capturing images of products as they progress through stations of the conditioning process, communicating each captured image, in real time when captured, together with a timestamp for the capture of the image, to a central repository, creating a record from each first image and timestamp corresponding to each new or used product prior to the conditioning process, updating the record with each subsequent image and timestamp during the conditioning process (e.g., before and after each next work station in the conditioning progression), and generating reports by the central repository, responsive to requests, in respect of at least portions of the record.
