    Abstract: Surgical draperies and methods of use are disclosed which provide a technique to prevent the edges of the surgical draperies from touching the floor. An elastic is included in a bottom portion of the surgical drape which provides for a snug connection to an operating table. Further elastic connecting bands or connecting devices such as hooks serve to further prevent the contact of the surgical drape with the floor.
