    Abstract: A method for sensing and digitally recording the movements of a plurality of elevator cars in conjunction with the sensing and digital recording of a plurality of on-off electrical signals from the associated elevator control system utilizing a portable computer. A separate analysis computer is then used to integrate such recorded information into a graphic presentation for the purpose of evaluating elevator system operation.
