    Abstract: A process of texturizing a mycelial fungal mass and resultant product is disclosed. The fungal mycelial mass containing 20% to 35% and preferably 23% to 33% solids in water is extruded through a die containing a foraminous member and a compression zone whereby a meat-like material is obtained.
