    Abstract: Systems, methods, media, and other such embodiments described herein relate to critical area analysis (CAA) operations as part of electronic design automation (EDA). One embodiment involves accessing a circuit design having a first layer (which may be a composite layer), sampling the first layer, and performing an initial CAA using the sampled portions of the layer with a set of predetermined defect sizes. The initial CAA is used to automatically generate a model which can be used to accurately select input parameters (e.g., selected defect sizes) for a full analysis. A CAA characteristic is then calculated for the first layer using the input parameters. In various embodiments, different sampling percentages and criteria for selecting input parameters can be used to reduce the computing resources to compute a CAA characteristic, such as theta-bar, while limiting error to a threshold amount (e.g. less than one percent).

The blower may be configured to operate in a cyclic manner. In various embodiments, the blower may be configured to operate in a reverse direction for at least a portion of the drying cycle.

A control unit is in communication with the sensor and selectively actuates and de-actuates at least one of the heating element and the blower, based on the humidity level.

The door assembly may include a duct configured to receive moisture-laden air creating during the drying cycle and encourage the condensation of the water from the air such that the water may be redirected back to the tub portion of the dishwasher and the dry air may be directed out of the dishwasher.

    Abstract: A method of preventing galvanic corrosion in a pump motor for a dishwashing appliance is provided, wherein the dishwashing appliance includes a tub portion and a sump assembly disposed about a lower end of the tub portion for receiving a dishwashing fluid therein. Such a method comprises operably engaging a pump assembly in fluid communication with the sump assembly. The pump assembly has a pump motor with a non-submersed aluminum winding terminating in and secured to at least one non-aluminum metallic electrical connector about a non-submersed interface. A moisture-resistant coating material is applied about the non-submersed interface between the aluminum winding and the non-aluminum metallic electrical connector, so as to prevent moisture from encroaching into the interface and promoting galvanic corrosion between the dissimilar metals of the winding and the at least one electrical connector. An associated apparatus is also provided.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a signal control system has a signal output and includes: 1) a phase-locked loop (PLL) having a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), a phase error detector, an oscillating output coupled to the signal output of the signal control system, and a programmable frequency divider coupled in a feedback path between the oscillating output and the phase error detector; 2) at least one automatic level controller (ALC), coupled to the oscillating output; and 3) a plurality of switchable integrators, including first and second switchable integrators that are respectively coupled between the phase error detector and the VCO, and in the at least one ALC. Each of the switchable integrators is switchable between a narrow bandwidth mode that provides for stable operation of the signal control system, and a wide bandwidth mode that enables fast signal transitions at the signal output.

    Abstract: A method of remote debugging comprises a first computer system that communicates with a second computer using a network connection. The first computer system controls the remote debugging and comprises a first operating system. The second computer system comprises a second operating system and software being tested. User input, in the form of debug commands, is received using a remote debugger in the first computer system to control the remote debugging session. The remote debugger translates a debug command into messages that are sent from the first computer system to the second computer system. The messages correspond to tasks that the target computer system performs to complete the debug command. During debugging, the target computer system transitions between polling or stopped mode and interrupt-driven mode by transitioning both the target operating system and network hardware in the target computer system that interfaces with the network.
