  • Patent number: 10325470
Abstract: A system for monitoring a health status of a person within an enclosed area may include a plurality of sensors distributed about the enclosed area. The sensors may be configured to detect respective different types of inputs based upon activity by the person within the enclosed area. The system may also include a computing device cooperating with the sensors to determine when the health status falls below a threshold status level based upon a timing and sequence in which the sensors are activated from the activity of the person within the enclosed area, and generate an alert based upon the health status falling below the threshold status level.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 26, 2017
Date of Patent: June 18, 2019
    Assignee: CITRIX SYSTEMS, INC.
Inventors: Brian Jeffrey Ehlert, Jiayin Tian, Christopher Coy Fife

  • Publication number: 20070109334
Abstract: An ink reservoir having values for parameters associated with an evaporation prediction curve stored in memory associated with the ink reservoir, wherein the evaporation prediction curve approximately tracks an empirical evaporation curve.

  • Publication number: 20070024917
Abstract: An imaging apparatus having a device access area includes a light source mounted to the imaging apparatus, the light source being positioned to illuminate the device access area to counter darkness in the device access area of the imaging apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20060056856
Abstract: A method for providing technical support to a customer relating to an imaging cartridge used in an imaging apparatus includes receiving a request from the customer for assistance relating to the imaging cartridge; executing diagnostic software associated with a type of the imaging apparatus based on the request to generate a diagnostic code pertaining to the imaging cartridge; receiving the diagnostic code from the customer; performing an analysis of the diagnostic code; and determining an action to be taken based on the analysis of the diagnostic code.

  • Publication number: 20050286913
Abstract: A method for imaging with an imaging apparatus includes the steps of designating a supply item for use in the imaging apparatus as one of a first cartridge type and a second cartridge type; establishing for the imaging apparatus a first operational state and a second operational state, the first operational state corresponding to a first period of imaging apparatus use when the imaging apparatus is new, and the second operational state corresponding to a second period of imaging apparatus use following the first period of imaging apparatus use; and determining whether the imaging apparatus is operating in the first operational state, the imaging apparatus accepting the first cartridge type for imaging only if the imaging apparatus is operating in the first operational state.

  • Publication number: 20050270314
Abstract: A method of ink evaporation prediction for an ink reservoir includes establishing an empirical evaporation curve representing evaporation characteristics for an ink reservoir type, the ink reservoir belonging to the ink reservoir type; and establishing an evaporation prediction curve for the ink reservoir that approximates the empirical evaporation curve.

  • Publication number: 20050110827
Abstract: A printhead capping assembly includes a cap holder and a printhead cap. The cap holder defines a cavity and a vent exit. The printhead cap has a base and a lip portion extending from the base. The lip portion defines an open interior region. The base is inserted into the cavity of the cap holder. The base includes a serpentine channel extending from the open interior region to the vent exit of the cap holder.
