    Abstract: A barrier device capable of rapid deployment and assembly to form a barrier wall. The barrier device comprises slidable interlock capabilities so that adjacent barriers can be connected to one another quickly and without the use of any tools or other components. In one aspect, the invention is the barrier device comprising: a base plate having a bottom surface and a top surface; and a wall plate connected to and extending upward from the top surface of the first plate, the wall plate comprising a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. The wall plate of any one barrier device can slidably mate with a second lateral edge of the wall plate of an adjacent barrier device.
