  • Patent number: 11965511
Abstract: A bellows motor expansion chamber for electric submersible pumps (ESP). An ESP assembly includes an electric submersible motor between a thrust chamber and a motor expansion chamber, the motor expansion chamber including a bellows coupled to a releasable bellows anti-movement system including a heat-activated release and alterable between an immobilizing position, wherein the releasable anti-movement system prevents concertinaed movement of the bellows in the immobilizing position, and a released position, wherein the bellows is concertinaedly moveable in the released position, and wherein the releasable bellows anti-movement system is in the immobilizing position below a release temperature and in the released position above the release temperature. A filter section within a well fluid inlet of the bellows motor expansion chamber includes a least two concentric filters of varying porosity, and a housing surrounding the filters including angled ribs and flow holes.

  • Patent number: 10491639
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide a secure federated computing system for mobile structures. A secure federated computing system includes a secure system controller and one or more user modules each implemented with a secure system processor and configured to communicate over one or more system fabrics. The secure system controller and the user modules are configured to form secure communication channels to each other over the one or more system fabrics to facilitate a secure initialization procedure. Once the secure initialization procedure is complete, the secure system controller and the user modules can be used to dynamically allocate secure and non-secure system resources as needed or as indicated by a security rule set programmed into the secure system processor.

  • Patent number: 8060753
Abstract: Methods, systems, and articles of manufacture consistent with the present invention provide for administering a protected item. An anti-theft key encoded with a radio frequency identification of the user and biometric data of the user is provided. The anti-theft key is associated with the protected item such that the protected item is accessible with the anti-theft key.

  • Publication number: 20070291791
Abstract: Dynamically reconfigurable middleware is embedded in hardware form in communication network platforms to implement network security policies, exploit data and increase data throughput, especially in mobile ad hoc environments. The hardware includes a quality of service manager for receiving data from the network and prioritizing the data according to predetermined classes of data service. An embedded security manager authenticates data received from the network based on a predetermined security policy and allows only that data to reach applications running on the platform that has been authenticated. A data exploitation manager detects receipt at the platform of predetermined types of data of interest to the platform. Routing tables are provided for determining the routing of the data to a destination, and a protocol engine is employed to specify the protocol to be used in routing the data.
