Abstract: Certain embodiments provide a multi-sleep position head and neck pillow apparatus. The apparatus includes a front, a rear, two ends, a center section, and side sections on opposite sides of the center section. The apparatus also includes a base layer and a top cushion layer. The base layer includes a base at the center section of the apparatus and a side at each side section of the apparatus. The base includes a top surface and the sides include an incurved top surface. The top cushion layer includes a neck cushion attached to the top surface of the base. The top cushion layer also includes a side cushion attached to the incurved top surface of each side. The side cushions include an aperture that extends through the side cushion to form an ear cradle.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for cleaning a water well is presented. The apparatus utilizes a tool body having a plurality of discharge nozzles for jetting streams of filtered water at high pressure on to the inside wall surface of a casing across a water zone having slots or perforations. The nozzle streams are offset from the tool body imparting a rotational force. A rotary coupling is also utilized to limit the maximum rotation. The apparatus is lowered by a pre-determined length of coiled tubing to cleaning depth after which it is raised at a slow rate across the water zone.

Abstract: A coded mass spectrometer incorporates a spatial or temporal code to reduce the resolution/sensitivity dichotomy inherent in mass spectrometry. The code is used to code one or more portions of a mass spectrometer. Coding patterns, such as Hadamard codes, Walsh codes, and perfect code sequences can be used. The coding can be spatial, for example, by using an aperture mask and/or temporal, for example, by coded injection of ions for analysis.

Abstract: A document similarity detection and classification system is presented. The system employs a case-based method of classifying electronically distributed documents in which content chunks of an unclassified document are compared to the sets of content chunks comprising each of a set of previously classified sample documents in order to determine a highest level of resemblance between an unclassified document and any of a set of previously classified documents. The sample documents have been manually reviewed and annotated to distinguish document classifications and to distinguish significant content chunks from insignificant content chunks. These annotations are used in the similarity comparison process. If a significant resemblance level exceeding a predetermined threshold is detected, the classification of the most significantly resembling sample document is assigned to the unclassified document.

Abstract: Provided herein is a method and system for delivering content and direct marketing over a network. There is a host system, a vendor system, and a subscriber system connected to a network. A subscriber registers by providing information to the host system. The subscriber then selects topics that the subscriber is interested in from a plurality of topics. The subscriber then receives writings on such topics, along with information on products, services, or entities. Information relating to the subscriber's activities are tracked. This information can be used to target advertisements or product recommendations. This information can also be provided to third parties. Also provided is an ecommerce system wherein a host enters into an agreement with a vendor whereby the host receives compensation as a result of a subscriber viewing an advertisement or purchasing a product or service.
