  • Publication number: 20110010349
Abstract: We have invented a method and device for enabling users of enterprise software products to create, publish, and share reviews of enterprise software products. This useful, concrete and tangible result is accomplished through a server-hosted website accessible through the Internet. There are unique challenges with creating and sharing reviews of enterprise software products (compared to other products), and our invention solves these problems using several new and innovative methods we created, which form the basis of this application. Using this website, users of enterprise software can create a review of a product they are using or deploying, and also view reviews created by other users about the enterprise software products they are interested in. With usage, this invention becomes a global repository of enterprise software product reviews and a resource for users worldwide to share opinions and experiences to help each other evaluate, select, buy, and use enterprise software products.

  • Publication number: 20080162365
Abstract: This document describes tools capable of authorizing or enabling authorization of multiple payment transactions without requiring that a buyer or seller authorize each transaction separately. The tools may do so by enabling a buyer or seller to select aggregate constraints, such as a total price or number of transactions. Based on these selected constraints, the tools may authorize every payment transaction that meets the aggregate constraints without requiring the buyer to authorize every transaction separately.

  • Patent number: 7327857
Abstract: A non-contact imaging apparatus for examining an object having complex surfaces or shape deformations. The imaging apparatus includes at least one imaging device for obtaining a scanned image of the exterior surfaces of the object being examined. A predetermined reference image) of an ideal model for the object is stored in a memory. An image register is coupled to the imaging device and to the memory containing the reference image of the ideal model for the object. A transformation estimator compares the scanned image to the reference image and provides a transform which maps the scanned image to the reference image and provides a set of registered object data points. One or more filter modules process the registered object data points with a priori information to reduce noise and to further enhance the accuracy and precision of the registration. A gauge estimator is coupled to the filter module.
