  • Publication number: 20220258675
Abstract: An evidence storage container is configured to be either removably or permanently attached to a law enforcement vehicle to secure seized items that may serve as evidence. The evidence storage container has a paper grasp structure for holding currency, driver's licenses, or other items of paper, as well as provisions to store a pen or pencil and drain holes to drain any moisture from precipitation.

  • Publication number: 20040258485
Abstract: A retractable strake is disclosed that includes an assembly of flexible finger elements or flexible faces. The assembly, when coupled to a structure, deflect at wind speeds greater than approximately twenty mph or wind pressures greater than approximately one psf. Accordingly, the strakes' retractable or flexing feature does not contribute to the wind load when the wind load is overly severe, while providing vortex shedding benefits within a wind speed profile range.

    Publication date: December 23, 2004
Inventors: Jeffrey H. Steinkamp, James C. Butts
  • Patent number: 6781558
Abstract: An antenna mast is disclosed that has N faces, N corners that are intermediate adjacent faces, and N fins that each include a plurality of bars that extend between a first side and a second side of each fin in a direction opposite to an adjacent one of the plurality of bars. The antenna mast disclosed is lightweight, easy to maneuver and utilizes minimal raw material, while maintaining its structural integrity.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 3, 2002
Date of Patent: August 24, 2004
    Assignee: SPX Corporation

  • Patent number: 6768473
Abstract: An antenna is provided that includes a mast, a first dipole, and a second dipole. The first dipole crosses with the second dipole, and the first dipole and the second dipole form a first antenna assembly that is coupled to the mast. A hybrid power divider is coupled to the first antenna assembly, and an internal feed system, positioned within the mast, is coupled to the hybrid power divider. The antenna may include a rigid coaxial internal and external feed system.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: July 27, 2004
    Assignee: SPX Corporation
Inventors: Michael W. Harland, William A. Kerkhoff, Rex L. Niekamp, Eric L. Power, David W. Rees, Jeffrey H. Steinkamp
  • Publication number: 20040086340
Abstract: A retractable radome strake is disclosed that includes an assembly of finger elements. The assembly of finger elements, when coupled to a radome, deflect at wind speeds greater than approximately twenty mph or wind pressures greater than approximately one psf. Accordingly, the retractable radome strake does not unnecessarily contribute to the wind load of a radome enclosed antenna structure when the strakes are not needed.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 30, 2002
    Publication date: May 6, 2004

  • Patent number: 4014546
Abstract: A scoring apparatus includes a pad upon which a parachutist impacts, containing normally separated and electrically insulated conductive sheets. A fish net type of insulator disposed between the sheets permits contact therebetween upon impact by a jumper. A voltage representative of the point of contact of the jumper upon the pad is thereby generated and supplied to a display device which displays the accuracy of the landing upon the pad.
