    Abstract: A nasal passage washing device includes a pliable body including an open top; and an applicator cap removably attached to the pliable body to cover and uncover the open top. The applicator cap includes an applicator tip having a substantially frustoconical configuration sized and shaped for receipt at least partially within a nostril of a user for sealing engagement therewith, the applicator tip including a hole to transfer washing solution there through, a washing solution transfer tube in communication with the hole of the applicator tip and a bottom of an inside of the pliable body to transfer washing solution from the bottom of the inside of the pliable body to the hole of the applicator tip, and a one-way air valve that only allows air flow into the pliable body through the one-way air valve and does not allow air flow and washing solution flow out of the pliable body through the one-way air valve.

Alternatively, continuous screw threads on the cap and container may hold the parts together.

The container has a circular bottom with rounded corners joining a sidewall that is inclined at an angle toward a longitudinal axis of the container to define a container volume. The bottom has six equally spaced baffles extending inward from the corners and upward toward a large diameter opening of the container centered on the longitudinal axis. The baffles have a triangular cross-sectional shape with an included angle of about 28-40°, and a height measured parallel to the longitudinal axis of about 15-25% of the usable container volume. The baffles end before the longitudinal axis. The container and baffles are blow molded of a polymer suitable for blow molding. An air permeable filter is placed over the container opening, with the filter having an adhesive on one side to stick to the container.

    Abstract: A stackable chair includes first, second, and third frame members. Each of the first and second frame members forms a front and rear chair leg joined by a seat side rail. The third frame member has opposed side portions respectively joined to the seat side rails, a transverse front nose portion, and a pair of upwardly-extending back stiles. A cushioned and upholstered seat module assembly is attached to the seat side rails. A back module assembly includes a contoured, cushioned, and upholstered back base element having a pair of channels formed therein that are configured and located so as to receive and conceal the stiles when the back module assembly is slid onto the stiles, whereby the back module assembly is attachable to the stiles along the channels. A lower lumbar support element is advantageously attached to the lower portion of the back base element.

    Abstract: A method has been developed for the solution-based metal exchange of carboxylato-alumoxanes [Al(O)x(OH)y(O2CR)z]n with a wide range of metal cations. Metal-exchanged carboxylato-alumoxanes are new, particularly those in which about 10% to about 50% or more of the Al ions are exchanged for other metal ions. Additionally, the carboxylic acid ligands can be stripped from the boehmite core of metal-exchanged carboxylato-alumoxanes at low temperature leading to the formation of metal-exchanged boebmite particles. These new material phases can be used as intermediates for preparation of mixed metal aluminum oxide materials. Thermolysis of the metal-exchanged carboxylato-alumoxanes or metal-exchanged boehmite particles results in doped aluminas (M/Al2O3), binary (MAlOx), ternary (MM′AlOx) and even more complex metal aluminum oxide compounds, where M and M′ are metal ions other than those of aluminum and are preferably those of Lanthanide metals or transition metals.

    Abstract: A portable display frame combination is claimed which provides a display combination which is easy and quick to assemble, sturdy and portable. The combination comprises a support frame, a plurality of support devices attached vertically to the display frame and a plurality of display panels attached to the support devices. The support devices are each comprised of a plurality of individual bars which telescope into one another for ease of storage and transport. As the bars are telescopically expanded, unique connection pieces cause each of the inner bars to snap forward to provide a smooth support surface disposed in a single plane. The connection pieces are made up of a forward section and a rearward section, the rearward section is affixed to one end of the inner bar. The forward section is separated from the rearward section by a spring in such a way that the forward section can be compressed toward the rearward section by applying pressure to the forward section.
