  • Publication number: 20240224857
Abstract: A grain loss sensing system for a combine harvester. The grain loss sensing system employs at least one emitter and receiver on the combine harvester and uses what is received by the receiver to calculate grain loss. The system can be configured to use, for example, microwave, ultraviolet, x-ray and/or photographic technology. The results are used to differentiate between grain and MOG. The results are relayed to the operator so that the operator can make adjustments and/or the combine harvester host controller receives this information and responds by making adjustments automatically.

  • Patent number: 11947577
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing auto-completion options to input characters are presented. In response to receiving input characters, a plurality of items of content (that are non-textual items of content) of a corpus of content are identified. These items of content are clustered into n clusters of content according to similarities among the items of content. From the items of content of each cluster, a descriptive title is determined for the cluster. This descriptive title is an auto-completion option for the cluster. The descriptive titles/auto-completion options are provided in response to receiving the input characters.

  • Patent number: 11899715
Abstract: In a method for identifying visually similar media content items, perceptual hashes for video frames of media content items are received. The perceptual hashes are compared for at least a portion of video frames. Based on the comparing the perceptual hashes for at least a portion of video frames, it is determined whether media content items are matching. The media content items indicated as matching are grouped.

  • Patent number: 11887370
Abstract: In a method for identification of an Internet meme, a plurality of sources is monitored for digital visual content comprising a visual moment and a caption. It is determined whether instances of digital visual content include a same visual moment. Provided the instances of digital visual content include the same visual moment, the instances of digital visual content including the same visual moment are identified as similar digital visual content. Each instance of the similar digital visual content is tracked. Provided a total number of instances of the similar digital visual content exceeds an Internet meme threshold, the similar digital visual content is identified as an Internet meme, wherein the same visual moment is a root visual moment and each caption corresponds to a different iteration of the Internet meme.

  • Publication number: 20230321560
Abstract: A heat transfer process focused for heat transfer with a potentially scaling, fouling, solids laden or otherwise aggressive fluid employing direct thermal contact between said fluid and an immiscible, phase shifting working media wherein said phase shifting proffers the employ of the latent heat of vaporization for protraction of the heat transfer process. Wherein further said phase shifts modify the working media density therein motivating the immiscible, direct contact fluid dynamics.

  • Patent number: 11765995
Abstract: A louver position sensing system for a sieve and chaffer of a combine harvester. One system provides that at least one sensor is in actual, physical contact with one or more louvers of the sieve and chaffer. Another system provides that a one or more magnet holders are mounted on louvers and, spaced away, sensors sense magnets in the magnet holders to determine the rotational position of the louvers. Either system allows for accurate, on-the-fly adjustment of the louvers in order to maximize the efficiency of operation of the sieve and chaffer. Preferably, the sensing systems are configured such that sensed position of the louvers is broadcast on the CAN bus of the combine harvester. As a result, the position information can be used to dynamically adjust the openings between the louvers of the sieve and chaffer to achieve more efficient grain cleaning as the machine and field variables change.
