  • Publication number: 20110203238
Abstract: A dust collector arrangement has a dust separator supported on a frame, with a lid for the dust collection barrel is mounted onto the frame below it. The lid is supported at a fixed elevation above the surface of the shop floor to create a space or clearance between the rim of the dust collection barrel and the lid. The barrel is supported on casters, and can be rolled into place under the rim, and can be rolled out for emptying. Over-center latches positioned at intervals around the upper part of the barrel side wall, engage corresponding structure on the lid. These pull the barrel upwards against the lid and with the barrel casters lifted off the floor surface. The latch members release to lower the barrel for emptying.

  • Patent number: 8000973
Abstract: An embodiment of a method is disclosed wherein a natural language communication is received from a user. A concept recognition process is applied to automatically derive a representation of concepts embodied in the natural language communication. A collection of information likely to be useful in responding to the natural language communication is selected based on correspondence to the representation of concepts. The collection of information is provided to a human agent through an interface. Through the interface, an identification of a particular item of information from the collection is received. The particular item is illustratively a sub-set of the collection of information, the sub-set being a particular proposed response to the natural language communication. The particular proposed response is delivered to the user.

  • Patent number: 7981200
Abstract: A flare stack that preferably comprises a burner assembly, an exhaust stack, an housing, and a fuel line. The burner assembly burns a fuel to generate thermal energy and combustion byproducts. The exhaust stack is cooperatively associated with the burner assembly to direct the thermal energy and combustion byproducts away from the burner assembly. The housing at least partially defines a fluid-receiving chamber in thermal communication with the exhaust stack. The fluid-receiving chamber has a heat-transfer fluid disposed therein. The fuel line is in fluid communication with the burner assembly to deliver fuel to the burner assembly. At least a portion of the fuel line is in thermal communication with at least one of the exhaust stack, housing, or heat-transfer fluid to permit fuel in the fuel line to absorb thermal energy before reaching the burner assembly.

  • Patent number: 7975908
Abstract: An automated banking machine (10) is operative to carry out financial transactions and includes a user interface (15). The user interface includes a card reader (16) which is operative to read data on user cards which identify user's financial accounts. A fascia of the machine includes a keypad (404, 438, 458) through which users input confidential data. Covers (400, 422, 430) prevent unauthorized persons from viewing confidential inputs to the keypad. Alternatively, movable panels (462, 464) are movable to prevent unauthorized viewing of confidential inputs. Alternatively a keypad cover is selectively collapsible to prevent digit access. A visual indicator is operative to indicate to a user that keypad inputs are being encrypted. Disinfecting techniques may be used to disinfect manual contact surfaces of the machine.

  • Patent number: 7950574
Abstract: An automatic banking machine operates responsive to data read from data bearing records to cause financial transfers. The machine includes a card reader that reads data corresponding to financial accounts from user cards and carries out transactions related to the accounts. The machine includes a camera, a microphone, and the card reader at a customer interface located at the front of the machine. A servicer display device is at a servicer interface located at the rear of the machine. The customer interface and the servicer interface can be placed in audio/visual communication. Although a first servicer located at the customer interface may not be directly visible to a second servicer located at the servicer interface, they are still able to communicate through the customer interface and servicer interface during machine servicing.
