Patent number: 11970038Abstract: Particular embodiments may enable configuring settings of a vehicle in a designated mode. A signal to perform a vehicle leveling process using an electronically controlled suspension of a vehicle may be received. A roll angle and a pitch angle of the vehicle as parked may be assessed based on data received from a position sensor built into the vehicle. Signals to adjust an electronically controlled suspension of the vehicle to reduce the roll angle or the pitch angle so that the vehicle is level as parked may be sent based on the assessed roll angle and pitch angle exceeding a threshold value. Data may be transmitted to present information related to the vehicle leveling process in a graphical user interface.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 2022Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Rivian IP Holdings, LLCInventors: Thomas Rocroi, Nathaniel Isaac Gallinger, Erik Robert Glaser, Jeffrey Park, Andrea Marie Best, Wassym Bensaid

Patent number: 8610536Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for control of beverage dispensing. In one aspect, authorization data specifying that a beverage dispensing node is authorized to be activated are received. Activation data that request activation of the node are also received, where activation of the node causes a valve that controls flow of fluid to a beverage dispenser to be opened. A determination is made that the activation data are associated with a user identifier for an enabled user, where an enabled user is a user that has been enabled to activate the node. In response to receipt of the authorization data and the activation data a valve that controls flow of fluid to the beverage dispenser is opened. Data (e.g., de-authorization or de-activation data) specifying that an activated beverage dispensing apparatus be de-activated can also be received. In response to receipt of the data, the valve can be closed.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2010Date of Patent: December 17, 2013Assignee: Table Tap, L.L.C.Inventors: Jeffrey Isaac Libby, Jeffrey Lin Portman, Jr., Andrew Hill Adams, Howard Lott Paulk

Patent number: 7421422Abstract: Methods and systems for providing random access, interactive presentations of geographic and temporal information for a region of interest. The system includes a database that receives and stores geographically registered data, an input system that receives parameter inputs, a data processor, and a visualization system that generates graphical representations of the geographically registered data for visual display. As parameters are interactively received via the input subsystem, a query of the geographically registered data is created, and the results of the query are returned to the visualization system such that the graphical representations are displayed in substantially real-time in accordance with the results.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2003Date of Patent: September 2, 2008Assignee: WSI CorporationInventors: Douglas G. Dempster, Jeffrey Isaacs, William R. Dow, Jr.

Publication number: 20020002531Abstract: A method for facilitating a transaction that includes receiving information describing an offer presented to a user; receiving an indication that the user desires to accept the offer unless a better offer is available, and accept the better offer when the better offer is available; providing the offer information for delivery to a system having access to information describing the other available offers, being adapted to compare the offer information with the other available offer information to determine whether the better offer is available, being adapted to provide information related to the determination, and being adapted to accept the better offer on behalf of the user when the better offer is available; and receiving the determination information and providing the determination information for delivery to an interested party, the determination information comprising an indication that the better offer has been accepted by the system.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 29, 2001Publication date: January 3, 2002Inventors: Andrew Lustig, Jeffrey Isaac, Mark Bernard

Patent number: 6141737Abstract: A method for dynamically caching data objects in a logical cache memory begins by organizing the logical cache memory into a set of maximally equally-sized, contiguous pages that begin at a logical cache base address. Any one of the maximal size logical cache pages may be dynamically subdivided into a set of smaller pages of equal size. The smaller size pages cache data objects having a smaller size than the maximum possible data object size. Each subdivided page stores only those smaller size data objects. The logical address for a page is mapped to at least a maximal size page index identifying the position of the maximal size logical page in the cache and, if the page is a smaller size page, the page location is also mapped to a smaller size page index which identifies a particular one of the smaller size pages located within a maximal size page. Pages are dynamically reconfigured based on a least-recently-used policy.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 1999Date of Patent: October 31, 2000Assignee: Citrix Systems, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Isaac Krantz, Marc Alan Bloomfield, Thanh Luu

Patent number: 6118899Abstract: A lossless bandwidth compression method for use in a distributed processor system for communicating graphical text data from a remote application server to a user workstation over a low bandwidth transport mechanism enables the workstation display to support the illusion that the application program is running locally rather than at the remote application server. At the application server, the graphical text data is represented by a string of glyphs, each glyph being a bit mask representing the foreground/background state of the graphical text data pixels. Each unique glyph is encoded by assigning a unique identification code (IDC). Each IDC is compared with the previous IDCs in the string and, if a match is found, the IDC is transmitted to the workstation. If a match with a prior IDC is not found, the IDC and the corresponding glyph pattern are transmitted to the workstation.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 1999Date of Patent: September 12, 2000Assignee: Citrix Systems, Inc.Inventors: Marc Alan Bloomfield, Jeffrey Isaac Krantz
