  • Patent number: 10972305
Abstract: A system for power line communications between an in-home wireless network and a pool or spa. The system may include a spa network interface in electrical wired connection to an in-home network interface. The spa power line communication module may be hard wired to a spa control unit, and power to the spa may be provided by one or more of a first 120V conductor having a first phase of power, a second 120V conductor having a second phase of power, a ground conductor, and a neutral conductor. The system may optimize the connection between the in-home powerline communications module connected to one phase of power via a home receptacle, and the spa powerline communications module by testing the connection over each conductor and selecting the conductor with the best throughput.

  • Patent number: 10925805
Abstract: A system for heating a pool or spa. The system may include a circuit for interrupting the power supply to a heating element of the pool or spa. A thyristor may be used to vary the voltage supply to the heating element, such as by use of a variable resistor, capacitor, and a triac. The system may adjust the resistance on the variable resistor to control to voltage supply to the heating element, allowing a larger heating element to be used more efficiently.

  • Patent number: 9647907
Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable medium that facilitate diagnosing a conference call are provided. A tap is deployed at the ingress side and the egress side of one or more processing systems that handle each leg of a conference. When a conference is disrupted by noise, loss, or the like, an operator may initiate a command to systemically record each leg of the conference for a predetermined period of time. Each leg may then be analyzed to determine if it is the source of the disruption.

  • Patent number: 8931077
Abstract: A security system for a computer network that has a plurality of devices connected thereto comprises a security subsystem, a master system and a secure link. The security subsystem is implemented on a first computer and is connected to at least some of the devices in the network. The security subsystem is configured to monitor activities of the at least some devices on the network and detect attacks on the at least some devices. The master system is implemented on a second computer which is different from the first computer. The master system monitors the integrity of the security subsystem and registers information pertaining to attacks detected by the security subsystem. The secure link is connected between the security subsystem and the master system. The master system monitors the integrity of the security subsystem and receives the information pertaining to the attacks through the secure link.
