  • Publication number: 20230149838
Abstract: A removable filter cartridge includes a filter housing containing a filter for filtering liquid and a sealing valve assembly coupled to the filter housing and for removably coupling the filter cartridge to a filter head. The sealing valve assembly include an inlet passageway and an outlet passageway. The sealing valve also including an inlet sealing valve that blocks the inlet passageway and an outlet sealing valve that blocks the outlet passageway while the filter cartridge is uncoupled from the filter head. A method of retrofitting a filter housing includes removing the filter housing from a filter head, coupling a sealing valve assembly to the removable filter to form a removable filter cartridge, and coupling the removable filter cartridge to the filter head.

  • Patent number: 10584813
Abstract: An anti-rotation device for preventing a hydraulic connector assembly from leaking. Various embodiments of the anti-rotation device provide a mechanism whereby threadably engaged connectors, such as compression fittings, are permitted to rotate only a fraction of a turn after loosening. For many applications, the limited degree of loosening is sufficient to prevent the onset of leaking. Structurally, the anti-rotation device can include a band that is secured to a female nut of a hydraulic connector. Protrusions extend laterally from the band and engage with a stop tab on the male body of the hydraulic connector assembly, thereby limiting rotation of the female nut that would otherwise cause leaks. Locking provided by zip tie structures proximate the free ends of the anti-rotation device.

  • Patent number: 7806151
Abstract: The drum cap venting device generally includes a venting cap assembly. The venting cap assembly can include a venting cap and a venting key. The venting cap generally includes a main body portion, a valve portion and a ring portion. The venting key generally includes a key body portion and a venting tube. The venting key is rotatably engageable with the valve portion of the venting cap such that rotation of the key provides a passageway of continuous fluid communication from the drum, through conduits in the venting cap, and out the venting tube of the venting key. As a result, any release or evacuation of pressurized gasses from the drum is directed away from the user to a safe area or device.

  • Patent number: 6994320
Abstract: A reinforced plastic valve apparatus in a preferred embodiment comprises an upper valve portion, a lower valve portion, an endoskeletal structure configured as a weir support or reinforcing member and an exoskeletal framework configured as a support collar. The upper valve portion preferably includes an upper plastic valve housing or body, a resilient diaphragm and a valve actuator. The lower valve portion comprises a lower plastic valve housing or body that is preferably configured to mate with the upper valve housing to define a valve interior. The lower valve body preferably has an integral weir which, in conjunction with the resilient diaphragm, defines a fluid passage. The diaphragm is configured to sealingly engage and disengage with the weir as effected by the valve actuator. The weir support member is disposable within the lower housing to support the weir.

  • Patent number: 6923198
Abstract: A fully draining valve including an upper valve portion and a lower valve portion. The lower valve body has an integral weir, which in conjunction with a resilient diaphragm, defines a fluid passage. The weir axis is sloped from a horizontal plane. A first duct axis is sloped downwardly away from the weir and sloped from the horizontal plane. A second duct axis is sloped downwardly away from the weir and sloped from the horizontal plane. A third duct axis is oriented downwardly away from the weir and substantially parallel to a vertical axis such that substantially all liquid from within the fluid passage drains from the valve by gravity.
