  • Patent number: 11709993
Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to providing efficient and fast invocation of concurrent sheet defined functions (SDFs) including dynamic arrays by front-loading the work. At SDF creation time, a SDF cell table, a formula table, and a spill area table are generated. The SDF cell table represents cells from a worksheet that are used for the SDF. The formula table comprises an index of formulas used by the SDF, whereby index identifiers are stored in cells of the SDF cell table. The spill area table comprises an index of spill areas where each dynamic array may automatically spill into. The SDF cell table, formula table, and spill area table are shared between a plurality of invocations of the SDF during invocation time.

  • Publication number: 20230231885
Abstract: A flexible security system has been created that allows for fluid security operations that adapt to the dynamic nature of user behavior while also allowing the security related operations themselves to be dynamic. This flexible system includes ongoing collection and/or updating of multi-perspective “security contexts” per actor and facilitating consumption of these multi-perspective security contexts for security related operations on the users. These security related operations can include policy-based security enforcement and inspection. A security platform component or security entity uses a multi-perspective security context for a user or actor. Aggregating and maintaining behavioral information into a data structure for an actor over time from different sources allows a security platform component or entity to have historical context for an actor from one or more security perspectives.

  • Patent number: 11705687
Abstract: An optical phase modulator comprises a cascaded array of optical resonators, wherein each of the optical resonators has an input port and an output port. A plurality of waveguides are coupled between the optical resonators and are configured to provide cascaded optical communication between the optical resonators. Each of the waveguides is respectively coupled between the output port of one optical resonator and the input port of an adjacent optical resonator. A transmission electrode is positioned adjacent to the optical resonators, with the transmission electrode configured to apply a drive voltage across the optical resonators. The optical phase modulator is operative to co-propagate an input optical wave with the drive voltage, such that a resonator-to-resonator optical delay is matched with a resonator-to-resonator electrical delay.

  • Patent number: 11699032
Abstract: In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems, methods and devices for identifying a target value in a data set are presented. A request for a first target value in a data array may be received, wherein the request comprises first reference value. The data array may comprise a plurality of values and a plurality of value types included in one or more tables in a computer-implemented spreadsheet application. An index comprising a plurality of sorted reference numbers corresponding to a plurality of values in the data array may be generated based on the request. The index may be searched, and based at least on the search, the first reference value may be identified. In additional examples, the index may be cached and utilized to process additional target value requests that reference an overlapping range value with the first request.

  • Patent number: 11686551
Abstract: A handguard assembly for installation on a firearm includes a handguard, an index block, a first fastener, and a second fastener. The handguard includes first and second clearance apertures and the index block includes first and second threaded apertures. The first and second fasteners extend through the respective first and second clearance apertures and threaded into the respective first and second threaded apertures. The first and second fasteners define respective first and second longitudinal axes that are non-parallel and non-collinear with each other. Tightening the first and second fasteners with respect to the index block secures the handguard to the index block and prevents movement of the handguard relative firearm.

  • Publication number: 20230193731
Abstract: A unified framework has been designed to create and maintain a set of adaptable general models that can be deployed and efficiently trained to fit to various deployments. The unified framework incrementally fills the feature space of a high dimensionality training dataset with field observations to reduce sparseness, trains and retrains a model set with the changing global training dataset, and then deploys a selected adaptable general model for training/fitting to a specified deployment scenario. Data that is generated by deployment adapted models can be validated and then added to the global training dataset that is used to train and update the general models. With the increasing density of the global training dataset, the general models can more quickly converge for a deployment scenario.
