Abstract: A blower includes a housing including an inlet and an outlet, a bearing-housing structure provided to the housing and adapted to rotatably support a rotor, a motor provided to the bearing-housing structure and adapted to drive the rotor, and an impeller provided to the rotor. The bearing-housing structure includes a bearing shaft having a bearing surface that rotatably supports the rotor. The bearing shaft provides only a single bearing of the non-ball bearing type for the rotor.

Abstract: Digital information objects in a digital information space are linked through the use of an overlay. A dynamic association between an accessed digital information object and each concept node in the overlay is established if the accessed digital information object and the overlay include at least one common concept. Links to other digital information objects are displayed if those objects are represented by information nodes within the overlay linked to a concept node expressing a common concept. At least a portion of the overlay may be exported for incorporation into other overlays or for various information processing functions.

Abstract: A method of delivering location-specific information to a wireless subscriber includes receiving one or more rules from an information distribution entity. The one or more rules define a geographic area related to the information distribution entity and define information to be distributed to the wireless subscriber when a wireless device of the wireless subscriber is in the geographic area. The method also includes receiving a registration message from the wireless subscriber, determining that the wireless device of the subscriber is in the geographic area, and delivering the information to the wireless device of the wireless subscriber.
