  • Patent number: 11969343
Abstract: Methods for rotationally aligning transcatheter heart valve prosthesis within a native heart valve include percutaneously delivering the transcatheter heart valve prosthesis to the native heart valve, wherein the transcatheter heart valve prosthesis includes at least one imaging marker, receiving a cusp overlap viewing angle image and/or a coronary overlap viewing angle image of the transcatheter heart valve prosthesis within the native heart valve, determining, based on the cusp overlap viewing angle image and/or the coronary overlap viewing angle image and the at least one imaging marker, whether the transcatheter heart valve prosthesis is in a desired rotational orientation, if the at least one imaging marker in the cusp overlap viewing angle image and/or the coronary overlap viewing angle indicates that the transcatheter heart valve prosthesis is not in the desired rotational orientation, rotating the transcatheter heart valve prosthesis until the transcatheter heart valve prosthesis is in the desired rot

  • Publication number: 20230042064
Abstract: A liquid extractor may include an extraction chamber containing a bed deck configured to support a solid material as the solid material is conveyed through the extraction chamber. To introduce solvent into the solid material being processed, the extractor may include a solvent injection orifice extending through the bed deck and a solvent injector. The solvent injector can receive solvent from a source and cause the solvent to rotate within the solvent injector before discharging the solvent through an outlet in fluid communication with the solvent injection orifice. The rotational flow motion imparted by the injector can create a vortex that functions to scout out any particles that may be present in the injector.

  • Patent number: 7929762
Abstract: A computer program product and method for locating edgeless areas within digital images, by locating a pixel with a luminance value that does not vary from its major neighbors by more than a fixed tolerance, and seeking to expand an edgeless area about such pixel by examining the variance in luminance of pixels about the selected pixel and if within a preset tolerance, including such neighbors within an edgeless area, and optionally further including pixels otherwise not includable within the edgeless area if local variations in luminance suggest a noisy background for which the tolerance may be increased.
