  • Publication number: 20130049370
Abstract: An architecture is presented that provides an in-line generator device designed primarily as a low-cost alternative to producing electrical power, generated through conduits. The in-line generator device comprises a housing unit, wherein the housing unit is secured to a conduit on both the first end and the second end, creating a passage. The in-line generator device further comprises at least one wheel encased in the housing unit that rotates with the passing of an amount of pressurized fluid. Additionally, a drive shaft is secured to the center of rotation of the wheel, and protrudes out through an air tight/water tight seal from the wheel to communicate with a generator. Rotation of the wheel via the flow of fluid through the housing unit, causes rotation of the drive shaft which communicates with the generator to generate electricity.

  • Patent number: 8118317
Abstract: One embodiment of a carrier for carrying articles and luggage may include a case member. The case member may include a container and a lid pivotally attached to the container. The carrier may further include a railing arrangement, which may include a plurality of telescopic members and a plurality of rail members. The plurality of telescopic members may extend from the lid, and may be extended and retracted. The plurality of rail members may be disposed horizontally on the plurality of telescopic members for extending and retracting the plurality of telescopic members. The extension of the plurality of telescopic members may enable the railing arrangement to assume an open position for configuring and defining a confined space above the lid to receive the luggage therein. The carrier may further include a plurality of wheels, which may be coupled to the container for moving the case member and the luggage.

  • Publication number: 20100301074
Abstract: One embodiment of an apparatus for dispensing food items at pre-selected time intervals is provided. The apparatus may include a dispensing member, a receiving member, a timer and a locking member. The dispensing member may store at least one food item therewithin. The dispensing member may dispense a predetermined quantity of the at least one food item. The receiving member may receive the predetermined quantity of the at least one food item dispensed from the dispensing member. The receiving member may be accessed in an open state thereof for retrieving the dispensed food item. Further, the timer may measure a pre-selected time interval. The timer may be activated based on one of a user input and accessing of the receiving member for dispensed predetermined quantity of the at least one food item. The locking member may be configured to lock one of the dispensing member and the receiving member.

  • Publication number: 20100147580
Abstract: One embodiment of an extension cord assembly includes a support structure, a support component, and an extension cord housing. The support structure may be rested on a surface and the extension cord housing may be carried by the support structure, while the support component may be coupled with a portion of an electrical appliance. Further, the extension cord housing may be adapted to retractably releasing an extension cord. The extension cord may be capable of electrically coupling an electrical appliance to a power source. Moreover, the extension cord may be positioned away from a ground surface upon electrically coupling the electrical appliance to the power source for avoiding a contact between the extension cord and articles resting on the ground surface and thereby enabling uninterrupted use of the extension cord.
