    Abstract: An integrated air hose assembly for a self-contained breathing apparatus. The air hose assembly includes a plurality of electrical wires embedded between an outer layer and an tube assembly. The tube assembly includes an inner tube forming a central air passage and an intermediate layer. Corresponding helical grooves are disposed in the outer surface of the intermediate layer and the inner surface of the outer layer, and the electrical wires are arranged therein in spaced relationship to one another.
