  • Publication number: 20160112521
Abstract: A multi-tenant media communication platform system and methods. The platform system includes media communication micro-services and micro-service configuration for entities configured for the platform system. Enrolling an entity in the platform system includes setting entity configuration for use of the platform system by the entity. A signaling micro-service request is processed according to the entity configuration. The signaling micro-service request is a request for use the signaling micro-service of the platform system on behalf of the entity. Use of the signaling micro-service is accounted for on behalf of the entity. Billing information for the entity is generated based on the accounting for the use of the signaling micro-service. Entity configuration includes micro-service configuration, and micro-service configuration of the signaling micro-service specifies at least one of: an endpoint mapping to at least one application logic URI, an event callback URI, and an event application logic URI.

  • Patent number: 8963776
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for the processing and presentation of flight tracking data from a number of sources, with at least one source include a user access restriction, is disclosed. Substantially real-time flight tracking data is received over a digital network from a number of different sources and is stored in at least a database. Various determined flight paths are stores for a single flight based upon the number of flight data sources contributing data regarding that flight. Upon receiving a query from a user, the user's access with respect to the available data providers in retrieved and the best flight for the selected flight which is determined only from data that the requested user is authorized to access is presented. In one form, the results may be presented to the user in the form of digital map having an aircraft image and historical flight path shown.

  • Patent number: 8755992
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for the processing and presentation of aviation information is disclosed. At plurality of flight information is received over a digital network and is stored in at least a database. The database includes aviation information. Upon receiving a user request, a server retrieves a result set from the database and transmits it to the requesting user. Subsequently, updates as to a flight identified in the request are transmitted at a selected rate, which may be modified automatically based on one flight characteristic, for subsequent display. In one form, the results may be presented to the user in the form of digital map having aircraft images.
