Abstract: A legal advice and referral method wherein the software application of the present invention includes providing legal advice and access to local laws based on the geographical position of the user. The present invention provides a plurality of legal category icons that facilitate the researching of local laws wherein the laws provided are based on the current geographical location of the user. The present invention further includes the ability to facilitate the communicable connection between a user and a legal professional. The legal professionals are assigned a geographical territory upon being registered with the present invention. A user is provided a prompt to be directly connected to a legal professional for an emergency. The present invention further provides the ability for a user to search laws for a location other than their current geographical position.

Abstract: A joint to connect frame members to form a frame of a chair. The joint has a first receptacle to receive a leg in a first position in which the leg extends in a first direction to support the frame of the chair at a distance above a surface, the leg attached to the frame via a cord. The joint has a second receptacle to receive the leg in a second position in which the leg extends in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, so that the joint rests on the surface, the second receptacle having an axially-oriented slot along a sidewall thereof to allow the cord to pass through into a central portion of the second receptacle.
