  • Patent number: 11952161
Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for capping an array of bat pipes. A cap rack is provided with a frame, runners and a matrix of caps. The matrix of caps are aligned respectively over the top open ends of array of bat pipes filled with smokable material. A press tool, having a matrix of pegs and ribs, is aligned over the matrix of caps. Downward pressure of the press tool is applied into the cap rack thereby pressing the matrix of caps into sealed engagement with respective top open ends of the bat pipes. The downward pressure of the ribs of the press tool into the cap rack separates the frame and runners of the cap rack from the matrix of caps leaving the matrix of caps seated in respective top open ends of the bat pipes leaving the array of bat pipes ready for sale, shipping or the like.

  • Publication number: 20220132915
Abstract: The device includes a single piece of glass configured into smokable plant matter chamber, venturi structure and smoke chamber along with a sealing cap with at least one fin and a lower plug portion. The smoke chamber includes an orifice by which the user draws the smoke after combustion of the smokable plant matter in the smokable plant matter chamber that acts as a bowl for holding smokable plant matter during combustion. A cap is provided to close and seal the smokable plant matter chamber after it is filled with ground smokable plant matter and to pack and seal the ground smokable plant matter in a desire amount of compression. If the user does not consume all of the ground smokable plant matter during use, the cap can be re-inserted, and the user can store and transport the remainder of the ground smokable plant matter for subsequent use.

  • Publication number: 20210212359
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and method for speed filling of a containers, such as bat pipes, that reside in a shipping container. A filling tray includes holes that align with top open ends of the bat pipes. A frame on the filling tray aligns the top open ends of the bat pipes. Smokable plant matter is spread onto the top surface of the filling tray to introduce the smokable plant matter into the holes of the filling tray and further into the top open ends of the bat pipes. A press plate, with a matrix of corresponding pegs, is urged downwardly to compress smokable plant matter into the top open ends of each of the bat pipes. After being filling with smokable plant matter, the top open ends of the bat pies are sealed with caps.

  • Patent number: 9093108
Abstract: A fluid dynamic bearing motor is provided having relatively rotatable facing surfaces that are reliably lubricated. A radial gap is defined between the relatively rotatable facing surfaces, wherein a first axial end of a fluid dynamic bearing has a larger radial gap as compared to a central region of the fluid dynamic bearing. In an aspect, a fluid recirculation passageway is established between the first axial end and the central region of the fluid dynamic bearing. In an aspect, a fluid reservoir is formed axially above the first axial end of the fluid dynamic bearing. Robustness of the FDB motor is increased, and sensitivity to external loads or mechanical shock events is reduced. Dry surface-to-surface contact of bearing surfaces and reduced performance or failure of the motor or disc drive components is averted. The use of diamond-like coating on relatively rotatable fluid bearing surfaces may also be reduced or eliminated.

  • Patent number: 6517091
Abstract: A roller skate comprising a shoe portion having a sole with front and rear regions and a cantilevered member having a free end proximate the front region of the skate and a fixed end opposite the free end. A supporting member is located between and contacting the cantilevered member and the sole. A plurality of front wheels are coupled to each other by a front axle. The front axle biases the free end of the cantilevered member. The skate further includes means for adjusting the position of the supporting member relative to the front axle. The position of the supporting member defines the sizes of the fixed end and the free end of the cantilevered member such that, when the adjusting means moves the supporting member away from the front region of the shoe portion, the size of the free end of the cantilevered member increases, permitting an increased amount of vertical movement of the free end of the cantilevered member and the front axle.
