  • Patent number: 11518482
Abstract: A foil displacement system includes one or more foils that can be deployed and stowed. When deployed, each foil can exert downforce or uplift depending on its orientation. For example, each foil may be positioned to have an angle of attack that creates a downward force effectively transmitted to the hull to pull the hull deeper within the water to, for example, create a larger wake. Use of the foil displacement system can enhance or replace the use of a ballast tank system, can be integrated into a new boat or retrofitted to existing boats, can be electronically or manually positioned, can enhance activities such as wake surfing, wake boarding, water skiing or other similar or related water sports.

  • Patent number: 11516915
Abstract: A land grid array (LGA) land pad having reduced capacitance is disclosed. The conductive portion of a land pad that overlaps a parallel ground plane within the substrate is reduced by one or more non-conductive voids though the thickness of the conductive portion of the land pad. The voids may allow the contact area of the land pad, as defined by the perimeter of the land pad, to remain the same while reducing the conductive portion that overlaps the parallel ground plane. Capacitance between the land pad and the parallel ground plane is reduced by an amount proportional to the reduction in overlapping conductive area.

  • Patent number: 11516265
Abstract: A replacement engine, which includes a processor and associated memory, receives replacement event information from a downstream playout system. The replacement event information includes a request to select a new media item to replace another media item. In response to receiving the replacement event information from the downstream playout system, the replacement engine initiates a search for the another media item in a media schedule. In response to a result of the search indicating that the another media item is not included in the media schedule, the replacement engine transmits, to the downstream playout system, a media item selection result indicating that no replacement media item has been selected.

  • Patent number: 11502866
Abstract: Travel-related-information messages (TRIMS) are received from one or more information sources, and information included in the messages is separated into a first (e.g. TPEG™) or second (e.g. TPEG+) group. A broadcast area to which the information included in the TRIMs is to be broadcast is determined. A further determination indicates that a subset of information assigned to the first group is to be reassigned to the second group. The subset of information is reassigned from the first group to the second group based on parameters associated with the broadcast area. The information included in the first group and the second group is delivered to one or more processing modules that generate a first TRIM reporting message using information included in the first group and a second TRIM reporting message using information included in the second group.

  • Patent number: 11503088
Abstract: A method includes obtaining a master broadcast log and multiple station broadcast logs. The master log includes: a master voice track slot; a master prior slot adjacent to and preceding the master voice track slot; and a master subsequent slot adjacent to and following the master voice track slot. The station broadcast logs include corresponding voice tracks, preceding slots, and subsequent slots. Prior and subsequent slots specify media items. One, but not both, of the media items in the prior and subsequent slots of a first station log match corresponding slots in the master log. A partial-match indicator is generated. Media items in both the prior and subsequent slots of a second station log match corresponding slots in the master log. A full-match indicator is generated. A graphical user interface displays the partial-match indicator and the full-match indicator in different display areas.

  • Patent number: 11486089
Abstract: A method of pulping wastepaper includes providing a pulping vessel with a rotor and at least one flow sensor adapted to measure slurry flow within the pulping vessel. The pulping vessel is charged with wastepaper and water to form a slurry, the amounts of wastepaper and water being present such that the slurry has consistency in the range of from 10% to 30%. The wastepaper charge in the pulping vessel is pulped at a pre-selected power level while monitoring poloidal slurry flow in the pulping vessel; and from time-to-time, water may be added to the pulping vessel when the poloidal flow falls below a predetermined lower threshold flow value in order to reduce viscosity and thereby restore poloidal flow within the pulping vessel. Doppler velocimetry is a preferred method of monitoring pulp flow. In a particularly preferred construction the rotor has a variable power drive.

  • Patent number: 11446109
Abstract: A system for detecting disposal of metallic objects into an opening of a medical waste container, including: an indicator for indicating passage of metallic objects through the opening, a pair of receive coils and a transmit coil spaced therebetween shaped for receiving waste therethrough adjacent to the opening, and a controller in electrical communication with the coils. The controller generates and communicates a transmit signal to the transmit coil, which generates a magnetic field that induces voltage in each of the receive coils, which each generate a receive signal. The controller generates a waveform based on the receive signals with a baseline corresponding to absence of metallic objects, and analyzes the waveform with respect to opposite first and second thresholds. The controller activates the indicator in response to metallic objects passing through the coils when the waveform first exceeds the first threshold and then subsequently exceeds the second threshold.

  • Publication number: 20220284450
Abstract: A computing device is configured for determining a sentiment index for display on a user interface of a destination computing device. The computing device tracks and receives real-time actual transaction activity information detailing each transaction performed over a past time period for each user from a plurality of users associated with an entity. Then, a set of proxy components are determined to represent the transaction activity information based on types of transactions in the transaction activity information. The sentiment index is generated having a value representing market sentiment for confidence at a current time in performing transactions based on a weighted sum and/or difference of the set of proxy components and display the value of the sentiment index on an interactive display of the user interface for subsequent use in performing further transactions.

  • Patent number: 11421031
Abstract: The present invention relates to bispecific molecules that are capable of localizing an immune effector cell that expresses an activating receptor to a virally infected cell, so as to thereby facilitate the killing of the virally infected cell. In a preferred embodiment, such localization is accomplished using bispecific molecules that are immunoreactive with an activating receptor of an immune effector cell and to an antigen expressed by a cell infected with a virus wherein the antigen is detectably present on the cell infected with the virus at a level that is greater than the level at which the antigen is detected on the virus by the bispecific molecules, and to the use of such bispecific molecules in the treatment of latent viral infections.

  • Publication number: 20220261842
Abstract: An analytics module included in a processing system receives performance feedback related to a broadcast media item. The performance feedback includes metadata associated with the feedback. Based on the metadata, the analytics module distinguishes between first performance feedback provided by automated programs and second performance feedback provided by valid users. The second performance feedback is transmitted to a media proposal server, but the first performance feedback is not. The media proposal server determines, based on the second performance feedback, that the broadcast media item is to be replaced by a replacement broadcast media item.
