Abstract: Apparatus and methods to reduce unwanted motion in precision instruments are described. An active vibration-isolation system may include a feedback loop that senses motion of an intermediate mass. In noisy environments, where the feedback loop would otherwise fail or provide inadequate isolation, feedforward control can be implemented to sense floor vibrations and reduce motion of the intermediate mass that would otherwise be induced by the floor vibrations. The feedforward control can reduce motion of the intermediate mass to a level that allows the feedback loop to operate satisfactorily.

An operation engine may be employed to provide operations metrics based on events and resolution actions associated with an incident. Update information may be provided to console modules included in operations command consoles (OCCs) each console module may include module views. The console modules may be employed to provide data objects to the module views. The module views may be employed to provide different visualizations of the incident based on a role that may be associated with the console modules. An OCC may be employed to provide other resolution actions to the operations engine and then that operations engine may provide additional update information to the console modules based on the other resolution actions.

The pump has an impeller housing configured with a slit at the top for trapped air to leave the impeller housing once the pump has been submerged. The control circuit is configured to cycle the pump on and off for a predetermined number of cycles so that the trapped air will float to the top and be expelled out the slit when the pump is cycled off. The control circuit is configured to leave the pump on after the predetermined number of cycles.
