  • Patent number: 11745305
Abstract: According to one example, a CNC machine tool system may perform error compensation for improving the accuracy of the geometry (or form) of a machined workpiece to, for example, better than 2 micrometers. To do so, a first machined workpiece may be created using the CNC machine tool system. The CNC machine tool system may create the machined workpiece by jig grinding. Following the creation of the first machined workpiece, metrology of the workpiece error may then be performed on the machined workpiece. The metrology of the workpiece error may be used to create a corrected toolpath trajectory for re-machining. This corrected toolpath trajectory may then be utilized by the CNC machine tool system to machine a second machined workpiece having a geometry (or form) with an accuracy of, for example, better than 2 micrometers.

  • Patent number: 10415283
Abstract: The invention disclosed provides a hinge capable of a vertical and overlay adjustment, comprised of a recessed hinge cup and a hinge arm connected to an attachment plate and an abutment plate which are further connected by a deformable hinge section. An overlay adjustment is provided by bending the deformable hinge section through use of an overlay adjustment screw fitted between the attachment plate and the abutment plate. The novel hinge provided is also adjustable vertically via an adjustment screw accessed by a portal in the attachment plate. The design is less complicated and therefore is lighter and less expensive than previous overlay adjustable hinges and allows delicate and semi-permanent adjustments to be made by a single installer.

  • Publication number: 20170042394
Abstract: A self-securing roll holder for easily exchanging rolls of sheet material. The holder comprises a mounting bracket, a mounting stanchion, a support, and a cap. The cap is pivotally connected to the support with a resilient retaining assembly. The cap has dimensions that allow the cap to act as a retainer in one position and, when moved to a second position, allow rolls of sheet material to be mounted and dismounted from the support. The retaining assembly further comprises a piston, a piston guide, a spring, and a pivot pin all of which are located inside the support. The cap is pivotally connected to the retaining assembly thereby maintaining forcible contact with the support and retaining rolls of sheet material on the support in one position until moved to a second position to exchange rolls.

  • Publication number: 20140174656
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for combinatorial processing are disclosed. Apparatuses include a wet etch module (WEM) operable to combinatorially etch a substrate having at least two site-isolated regions. The WEM includes a dispense manifold operable to dispense fluids and a mixing vessel unit operable to mix fluids. The WEM further includes a reactor unit operable to receive fluids from the dispense manifold or the mixing vessel unit. The reactor unit can apply a combinatorial process on a substrate having at least two site-isolated regions within the WEM. In addition, a secondary containment unit, having a leak sensor therein, is coupled to the dispense manifold, mixing vessel unit, or reactor unit to receive fluid leaks within the system. When the leak sensor detects a fluid leak, a warning may be generated. Advantageously, the generated warning does not impede substrate processing within the WEM.

  • Patent number: 8640308
Abstract: A pair of transition escutcheons are provided to unobtrusively cover old mounting holes and provide a method of actually locating the placement of new mounting hole for cabinetry hardware. Each transition escutcheon is comprised of a generally flat body, having a projection extending from a bottom, a platform separated from a border by an annular indention, and a hole passing through the escutcheon located a set distance from the projection. The escutcheons are inserted into the old mounting holes and rotated until the holes are horizontally agreed. New mounting holes are drilled or locations further marked through the holes in the escutcheons. Once the new holes are drilled, the new hardware is mounted on the escutcheons with the and covering the old mounting holes.
