    Abstract: A network-connected predictive modeling computer comprising at least a memory and a processor and further comprising programmable instructions stored in the memory and operating on the processor, the instructions adapted to a system for predicting events, outcomes, locations, items and more, across a broad variety of applications. A preferred embodiment of the invention interfaces to a plurality of user devices associated to a plurality of Subject Matter Experts (SME) as input to compute automatic predictive intelligence models. In a preferred embodiment of the invention a combination of subject matter expertise and insight are combined by a plurality of computing devices with raw or machine-learned data to create a predictive intelligence model that exceeds accuracy and confidence in results that may be achieved by individual participants or by computation alone.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for combining conjoint analysis with customer relationship management software, search engine software, and auction software are disclosed. According to one method, conjoint analysis is used to facilitate user interaction with a search engine. According to the method, search keywords are received as a user and treated as attributes by a conjoint analysis application. The conjoint analysis application presents the user with paired trade-off questions regarding the search keywords. Conjoint analysis is performed based on user responses to the questions. Based on the user's responses to the questions, relative importance weightings are computed for keywords. The keywords and the relative importance weightings are input to a search engine. The search is performed using the keywords. Results to be output to the user are selected based on occurrences of the keywords in the search results and the relative importance weightings.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for facilitating user choices among complex alternatives utilize conjoint analysis to simplify choices to be made by the user. A selector tool presents a user with a first and second series of choices relating to attributes of products or services available to the user. A utilities calculation engine calculates the relative utility of each of the products or services to the user and presents output to the user, which indicates the relative utility of each of the products or services. The user can then select the product or service that has the highest utility value for the user based on the calculated relative utility values.

    Abstract: A semiconductor test system includes at least one semiconductor wafer having working dies and at least one test die formed therein. Each of the working dies includes at least one bipolar transistor. A tester selectively supplies a changing direct current (DC) input signal to a selected test die and monitors a DC output signal therefrom. Each test die includes a test oscillator having at least one sample bipolar transistor substantially identical to the bipolar transistors of the working dies. The test oscillator switches between a non-oscillating state and an oscillating state as the DC input signal changes, and generates the DC output signal to the tester indicative of switching between the non-oscillating state and the oscillating state. A threshold level of a bias current that causes the test oscillator to switch between the non-oscillating state and the oscillating state is correlated to the maximum oscillation frequency and the transition frequency of the sample bipolar transistor.

    Abstract: A two-step analog-to-digital converter and BiCMOS fabrication method. The fabrication method provides pseudosubstrate isolation of digital CMOS devices from the analog devices. The converter uses NPN current switching in a flash analog-to-digital converter and in a digital-to-analog converter for low noise operation. CMOS digital error correction and BiCMOS output drivers provide high packing density plus large output load handling. Timing control aggregates switching events and puts them into intervals when noise sensitive operations are inactive. The fabrication method uses a thin epitaxial layer with limited thermal processing to provide NPN and PNP devices with large breakdown and Early voltages. Laser trimmed resistors provide small long term drift due to dopant stabilization in underlying BPSG and low hydrogen nitride passivation.
