  • Publication number: 20230032468
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems, vehicles, and methods to present an option to visit an attraction and to present information about the attraction. In an illustrative embodiment, a computing system operates according to instructions that cause the computing system to: monitor a position of the computing system; present via a visual interface a map including at least one first route; identify via the visual interface at least one attraction situated within a range of the at least one first route; in response to a request to add a visit to the at least one attraction, determine at least one second route from the position to the at least one attraction; present the at least one second route on the map; generate navigational information according to the at least one second route; and when within a predetermined vicinity of the at least one attraction, present information about the at least one attraction.

  • Publication number: 20220176985
Abstract: Various disclosed embodiments include illustrative navigation systems, and vehicles. A navigation system includes at least one sensor configured to detect terrain and objects near a vehicle and a processor configured to receive information from the at least one sensor and configured to determine a navigation path for the vehicle to follow. The navigation system also includes a projection system disposable on the vehicle. The projection system may be configured to project light onto at least one item chosen from terrain and objects based on the determined navigation path.

  • Publication number: 20220161815
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an apparatus includes an interface to receive sensor data from a plurality of sensors of an autonomous vehicle. The apparatus also includes processing circuitry to apply a sensor abstraction process to the sensor data to produce abstracted scene data, and to use the abstracted scene data in a perception phase of a control process for the autonomous vehicle. The sensor abstraction process may include one or more of: applying a Sensor data response normalization process to the sensor data, applying a warp process to the sensor data, and applying a filtering process to the sensor data.

  • Publication number: 20220126864
Abstract: Sensor data is received from a plurality of sensors, where the plurality of sensors includes a first set of sensors and a second set of sensors, and at least a portion of the plurality of sensors are coupled to a vehicle. Control of the vehicle is automated based on at least a portion of the sensor data generated by the first set of sensors. Passenger attributes of one or more passengers within the autonomous vehicles are determined from sensor data generated by the second set of sensors. Attributes of the vehicle are modified based on the passenger attributes and the sensor data generated by the first set of sensors.

  • Publication number: 20160171739
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods and storage media for providing augmented reality (AR) effects in stop-motion content are described. In one instance, an apparatus may include a processor, a content module to be operated by the processor to obtain a plurality of frames having stop-motion content, some of which may include an indication of an augmented reality effect, and an augmentation module to be operated by the processor to detect the indication of the augmented reality effect and add the augmented reality effect corresponding to the indication to some of the plurality of frames. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
