Publication number: 20220358174Abstract: A data structure embodied on a computer-readable medium is disclosed. The data structure may include a database schema for arrange a competition among associated users in a structured query language (SQL) database. The database schema may include a grouping schema and a competition schema. The grouping schema may identify one or more associated contestants. The grouping schema may receive one or more inputs from a host contestant to identify and associate the one or more associated contestants. The competition schema may include a plurality of contests. Each contest may have relational data tables configured to receive selections of songs, albums, and/or artists from the contestants, and reward points based on those selections. The points may be rewarded to each contestant based on their corresponding selections. The sum of the points for each contestant may be accumulated to determine a score. The point may be rewarded based on one or more activity tracking parameters.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 15, 2022Publication date: November 10, 2022Inventor: Jeffrey M. Sloan

Patent number: 11023543Abstract: An incentivized electronic platform includes machine instructions when executed by the CPU that implement logic that includes transmission of a first digital register of first digital content items and a second digital register of second digital content items. The logic further includes reception of a digital user ranking based on user selection from the first and a second digital registers and including at least one charted digital content item and at least one of uncharted digital content item. The logic further includes calculation of a score associated with the digital user ranking over a period of time based on an activity tracking parameter of the first digital content items and the second digital content items on the digital user ranking within a predefined association of the user. The logic further includes transmission of an indication of the score associated with the digital user ranking.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2017Date of Patent: June 1, 2021Assignee: Fan Label, LLCInventor: Jeffrey M. Patent number: 5332958Abstract: A device for use in conjunction with a battery in a motor vehicle which is connected to an electrical load. The device includes a microprocessor which iteratively inputs the value of the battery voltage as well as the ambient temperature surrounding the battery. The microprocessor also sets a cut off voltage level which increases proportionately with elapsed time from the last system reset of the device and preferably adjusts the cut off voltage level as a function of the ambient temperature of the battery. The cut off voltage level is set so that when the battery reaches the cut off voltage, sufficient energy remains in the battery for engine ignition, i.e. engine starting. The microprocessor then iteratively compares the battery voltage signal with the cut off voltage level and generates an output signal whenever the battery voltage is less than or equal to the cut off voltage level. The output signal initiates a timer which counts down a relatively short period of time, for example two minutes.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 1992Date of Patent: July 26, 1994Inventor: Jeffrey M. Patent number: 5191228Abstract: An antitheft device is provided for use in conjunction with a vehicle having an engine, an electrical system with an electrical starter, and a battery. The antitheft device includes a conventional alarm system which detects an unauthorized attempt to enter or start the vehicle motor and which generates an output signal representative thereof. A normally closed switch is connected in series between the battery and the vehicle electrical system. A switch actuator circuit is electrically connected to the alarm system and, upon receipt of an alarm signal from the alarm system, actuates the switch to the open position thereby disconnecting the vehicle battery from the engine starter and preventing unauthorized vehicle ignition. The switch actuator circuit also includes circuitry which detects an engine running condition which prevents actuation of the switch at any time that the engine is operating.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 1991Date of Patent: March 2, 1993Inventor: Jeffrey M. Patent number: 5130659Abstract: A battery monitor is disclosed for indicating the projected time until the battery reaches a lower threshold value indicative of the energy capacity of the battery. The battery monitor includes a microprocessor which iteratively reads the value of the battery voltage. The microprocessor then determines the rate of discharge of the battery and projects the future values of the battery voltage as well as the projected time at which the battery voltage attains the threshold voltage. This projected time is then displayed on a visual indicator, such as an LCD display. In an alternate embodiment, warning lights are selectively illuminated to indicate a full charge, medium charge and low charge conditions.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 1990Date of Patent: July 14, 1992Inventor: Jeffrey M. Patent number: 4902956Abstract: A safety device is wired in series with selected accessories in a wiring circuit for a vehicle. The safety device of the present invention determines the state of charge of the battery as a function of the rate of discharge of the battery. When the state of charge falls below preset values, the device activates a switch which disconnects the battery from the vehicle wiring circuit in order to save sufficient energy for engine ignition. In another embodiment, a programmed microprocessor activates electronic switches to sequentially disconnect banks of accessories from the battery.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 1988Date of Patent: February 20, 1990Inventor: Jeffrey M.
