  • Patent number: 11971820
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices that support variable modulation schemes for memory are described. A device may switch between different modulation schemes for communication based on one or more operating parameters associated with the device or a component of the device. The modulation schemes may involve amplitude modulation in which different levels of a signal represent different data values. For instance, the device may use a first modulation scheme that represents data using two levels and a second modulation scheme that represents data using four levels. In one example, the device may switch from the first modulation scheme to the second modulation scheme when bandwidth demand is high, and the device may switch from the second modulation scheme to the first modulation scheme when power conservation is in demand. The device may also, based on the operating parameter, change the frequency of the signal pulses communicated using the modulation schemes.

  • Publication number: 20240125851
Abstract: A memory controller and a physical interface layer may accommodate multiple memory types. In some examples, the memory controller and/or PHY may include a register that includes operating parameters for multiple operating modes. Different operating modes may be compatible with different memory types. In some examples, the memory controller and physical interface may be included in a system for testing multiple memory types. The system may provide multiple interfaces for communicating with the memory. The different communication types may be used for performing different tests and/or simulating different types of devices that may utilize the memory.

  • Patent number: 5590608
Abstract: A lock box mounting assembly (10, 101) for removably mounting a lock box (12, 116) to the hinge-edge (104) of a door (26, 106) includes a U-shaped bracket (30, 102, 103) formed for placement between the door (26, 106) and the door jamb (28, 107). The U-shaped bracket (30,102, 103) has an outer leg portion (32, 109), an inner leg portion (34, 108), and a central portion (36, 111) formed to extend through a reveal space between the hinge-edge of the door (26, 106) and the door jamb (28, 107) when the door is in a closed position. The inner leg portion (34) preferably includes at least one hinge-receiving slot (52a, 52b, 118) dimensioned to receive a door hinge (58,117) for vertically supporting the U-shaped bracket (30, 102, 103) on a door hinge (58, 117). In one form of the mounting assembly (101) the brackets (102, 103) substantially encircle and are locked to the door hinge (117) for increased security.

  • Patent number: 5590795
Abstract: A saddle holder that is portable that has the capability of being collapsed to enhance its portability. The saddle holder has a saddle support frame plus two other members that are rotatably connected to the saddle support frame and one of these has a hook member for providing the structure to connect the saddle holder and support from a structure that is external to the saddle holder. The rotatable members also allow the saddle holder to be connected to and supported from a structure external to the saddle holder through a clamping like action when the hook member is not in use and this is adjustable to conform to surfaces that have different contours. Adjustable bracing members are also provided that are associated with the rotatable members that serve to provide for the connection of the saddle holder and its support from an external structure.
