  • Patent number: 11952576
Abstract: A novel method of diluting the structures in the cell population, such that individual cells, dependent on the activity of the structures, become single measurement devices. This can be applied to all Bacterial Microcomparments (“BMCs”), organelles, and macromolecules, and could provide a universal method for the design of novel ones and understanding of the diverse structures. In one aspect the present invention provides A method of creating a bacterial strain with inducible and detectable carboxysomes. The method includes the steps of incorporating a labeled carbon-fixation enzyme into the genome of a bacterium; deleting all or a portion of the ccm operon from the bacterium; and reintroducing a ccm operon comprising an inducible promoter to create a ?ccm+ strain.

  • Publication number: 20240080421
Abstract: An apparatus includes a first camera configured to capture a first image being displayed, a second camera configured to capture a second image being displayed, and a processor configured to generate a pair-wise homography transform for the first camera and the second camera, and map, based on the pair-wise homography transform, the second image from a second frame of reference of the second camera to a first frame of reference of the first camera. The processor is further configured to determine a first corrected quadrilateral for the first image and a second corrected quadrilateral for the second image in the first frame of reference, and project, based on the pair-wise homography transform, the second corrected quadrilateral from the first frame of reference to the second frame of reference. • Patent number: 11797898
Abstract: Platooning vehicles can result in operational cost savings. Disclosed is a method of apportioning costs that are incurred/saved as a result of platooning vehicles, as well as assigning penalties for unfair platoon participation. For example, platooning history of a vehicle can be tracked, and if that vehicle acts too often as a trailing vehicle in a series of platoons then a penalty might be assigned to that vehicle. Also disclosed is a technique for operating a platoon in the presence of external factors such as municipal regulations, merging traffic, emergency vehicles, etc.
