  • Publication number: 20230329821
Abstract: A system for maintaining sterility during a biopsy procedure includes a cart, a packaging assembly, and a biopsy probe. The cart includes a support member defining an open inner portion and an opening in communication with the open inner portion. The packaging assembly has a container tray and a retainer tray. The packing assembly is configured to receive the biopsy probe. The open inner portion of the support member is configured to engage a portion of both the container tray and the retainer tray simultaneously to hold the container tray and the retainer tray within the open inner portion of the support member to thereby provide a sterile work surface during the biopsy procedure.

  • Publication number: 20230000587
Abstract: A biopsy site marker includes a marker element. The marker element includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion and the second portion each being configured to be displaced outwardly when deployed to a biopsy site. The marker element further including one or more anchors being configured to engage tissue of the biopsy site when the first portion and the second portion are displaced outwardly.

  • Publication number: 20220299414
Abstract: In one implementation, a footfall detection assembly comprising a sensor underlayment unit and a data analysis device is provided. The sensor underlayment unit comprises a sensor having a unique sensor identifier and a plurality of zones, wherein the sensor is configured to measure zone capacitance in of the plurality of zones, and a processing unit operably connected to the sensor. The processing unit is configured to receive the measured zone capacitance values from the sensor upon the occurrence of a change in measured zone capacitance of the sensor and generate and transmit a data packet comprising at least the unique sensor identifier and measured zone capacitance values upon occurrence of a change in capacitance of at least one of the plurality of zones of the sensor.

  • Patent number: 9270480
Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to systems and methods for Ethernet-based management of optical networks using ONT management interface (OMCI). In one exemplary embodiment, an Ethernet-based protocol, such as Active Ethernet, is used to implement an ONT management interface (OMCI) between an optical line terminal (OLT) and a plurality of ONTs of a MON. Further, virtual local area networks (VLANs) are used to separate the traffic carried by the MON. Various techniques are described that permit ONT registration and creation of VLANs for the MON without requiring the use of gigabit PON (GPON) constructs, such as traffic containers (TCONTs) and dedicated GPON encapsulation method (GEM) ports.
