  • Patent number: 11644108
Abstract: A flow control valve includes a valve body having a first section and a second section attached to the first section. A flow control member is positioned within the valve body and a shaft extends through the valve body and is connected to the flow control member to move the flow control member between an open position and a closed position. A sealing gasket is positioned within the valve body and engages the valve body to prevent the flow of fluid between the first section and the second section. The sealing gasket has an annular metallic body having an inner surface and an opposing outer surface, the outer surface defining a primary sealing surface, a groove formed in the outer surface, and an insert positioned within the groove, the insert defining a secondary sealing surface.

  • Patent number: 11085546
Abstract: Purge apparatus for use with fluid valves are disclosed. An apparatus includes a stem for a fluid valve. The stem has a first channel extending therethrough to receive a fluid. The apparatus also includes an aperture in fluid communication with the first channel and disposed on an outer surface of the stem or a fluid flow control member coupled to the stem. The aperture is to exhaust the fluid from the first channel toward one or more components of the fluid valve to remove residue.

  • Patent number: 10107417
Abstract: Single-piece valve closure members (e.g., discs, plugs, balls, etc.) including integral flow paths formed via additive manufacturing processes are disclosed. In some examples, an apparatus includes a single-piece valve closure member. In some examples of the apparatus, the single-piece valve closure member includes an integral flow path to direct a flow of fluid within the valve closure member. In some examples, a method includes forming, via an additive manufacturing process, a single-piece valve closure member. In some examples of the method, the single-piece valve closure member includes an integral flow path to direct a flow of fluid within the valve closure member.
