  • Publication number: 20240090966
Abstract: A surgical draping system includes an under-draping, an over-draping, and a connecting draping connected by the under-draping and the over-draping. The surgical draping system is used to establish and maintain a surgical corridor to a surgical site or sites on a patient supported by a surgical table. The surgical draping system can accommodate rotation of the patient on the surgical table, such that the sterile surgical corridor is maintained even during such rotation. The sterile surgical corridor extends through an aperture formed in the over-draping, through an enclosed passageway formed through the connecting draping, and through an aperture formed in the under-draping.

  • Patent number: 11925332
Abstract: Certain aspects relate to percutaneous sheaths for medical procedures as well as to related systems and methods. For example, a system for performing a percutaneous assisted medical procedure can include a percutaneous sheath. The percutaneous sheath can include a first conduit for providing aspiration into the kidney and a second conduit for passing a catheter into the kidney. The system can also include an aspiration catheter configured to be inserted into the kidney through the second conduit of the percutaneous sheath. A fluidics system can include an irrigation source comprising a pump and an aspiration source comprising a vacuum. The irrigation source can be connected to a fluid inlet of the percutaneous sheath that is connected to the first conduit. The aspiration source can be connected to the aspiration catheter.

  • Publication number: 20060257552
Abstract: A method and apparatus for high-pressure pasteurization utilizes a basket (40) for holding food packages (95). The basket (40) is transported on a cart (60) from a loading station (90), to the high-pressure pasteurization processing apparatus (10) and back to an unloading station (100). Two robots (17, 18) are utilized to reduce cycle time of the high-pressure pasteurization vessels (11).

  • Patent number: 4352664
Abstract: An air combat simulator including a part spherical screen, a remotely controlled horizon projector positioned so as to project onto the screen a scene consisting of sky and ground terrain, and a t.v. projection system for projecting onto the screen an image of an opponent's aircraft. A simulated manned aircraft consisting of a pilot's control station is positioned to view the screen and has flight controls arranged to generate flight control signals and a computer is arranged to control the horizon projector and opponent's aircraft image projector in dependence upon the flight control signals and upon a tactical decision making process programmed into the computer. To simulate range variation the size of the opponent's aircraft is varied by controlling the raster dimensions of a t.v. picture formed in the t.v. projection system, which system does not include a zoom lens.
