The materials, when administered, particularly by injection, release the active agent over time allowing the patient to be effectively treated without requiring multiple dosing of the pharmaceutical material. Pharmaceutical compositions containing the microparticles and methods of treating depression-related conditions utilizing the microparticles are also disclosed.
