    Abstract: A process for maintaining or increasing the power output of a gas turbine is described in which the ambient temperature in the locus of the gas turbine is monitored. In response to an increase in ambient temperature above the design temperature of the turbine the air volumetric flow rate through the compressor is increased and water is added to the combustion chamber in an amount sufficient to increase the volumetric flow rate of the gases through the expander section to the volumetric flow rate limit of the section.
