  • Publication number: 20230382473
Abstract: A trailer tandem slide stopping device for facilitating positioning of a trailer tandem includes a guide pin, which insertable into a first hole of a plurality of holes positioned in an outer rail attached to a the trailer. The first hole is positioned past either a rearward or forward end of an inner rail of the tandem trailer. The guide pin abuts the rearward or forward end of the inner rail upon driving a semitruck hitched to the trailer in forward or reverse, respectively, to move the trailer tandem toward the rear or front of the trailer, respectively, at which point a locking pin of the trailer tandem is aligned with and positioned for insertion into a target hole of the plurality of holes. The target hole corresponds to a desired position of the trailer tandem relative to the trailer.

  • Patent number: 11811367
Abstract: A scalable periphery tunable matching power amplifier is presented. Varying power levels can be accommodated by selectively activating or deactivating unit cells of which the scalable periphery tunable matching power amplifier is comprised. Tunable matching allows individual unit cells to see a constant output impedance, reducing need for transforming a low impedance up to a system impedance and attendant power loss. The scalable periphery tunable matching power amplifier can also be tuned for different operating conditions such as different frequencies of operation or different modes.

  • Publication number: 20230298721
Abstract: A wearable heads-up display (“HUD”) for a pharmacy workflow management system is disclosed herein. An example HUD includes smart-glasses that are communicatively coupled to a client device. The smart-glasses include at least one camera and/or barcode scanner to record information needed for the verification of a medication dose during medication formulation preparation. The smart-glasses include at least one microphone to record voice commands. Further, the smart-glasses include at least one embedded display screen that shows sequential steps of a preparation protocol for guiding a pharmacy technician to prepare a medication dose. An application on the client device and/or the smart-glasses is configured to recognize and use voice commands to provide navigation for the embedded display screen. • Publication number: 20230277205
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to end effectors. An end effector includes an outer shaft extending along a longitudinal axis and an inner shaft partially located within the outer shaft. The end effector may include an ultrasonic blade. The inner shaft may include biased and unbiased portions. The inner shaft and outer shaft may be translatable relative to one another. At one translatable position, the biased portion of the inner shaft may be located within the outer shaft and the unbiased portion may be substantially straight along the longitudinal axis. At another translatable position, the biased portion of the inner shaft may be located outside of and distally positioned from the outer shaft such that the biased portion of the inner shaft is bent away from the longitudinal axis.

  • Publication number: 20230247376
Abstract: A piezoelectric sensor and amplifier for use with an auditory aid device are disclosed. The piezoelectric sensor includes a top sensor and a bottom sensor disposed on opposite surfaces of a flex printed circuit board. The top and bottom sensors are made of a piezoelectric material, such as PVDF. Further, the piezoelectric sensor is adapted to be implanted into a subject's ear, where the piezoelectric sensor is cantilevered with the free, or distal end, touching the umbo. The proximal end is held in place by a support that is affixed to the ear. Additionally, the piezoelectric sensor is shaped so that the width of the distal end is less than the width at the proximal end. Further, the piezoelectric sensor generates differential signals, which are then amplified using a differential amplifier circuit.
