  • Patent number: 9605633
Abstract: A manifold for a dual-walled pipe includes a body, a primary conduit extending through the body and fluidly communicating with a primary passage of the dual-walled pipe, and a first socket having an outboard aperture and an inboard aperture fluidly communicating with the primary conduit. An intermediate chamber is disposed between the outboard aperture and the inboard aperture, and a first leakage conduit is formed in the body with a first end fluidly communicating with the intermediate chamber of the first socket and a second end adapted to fluidly communicate with a secondary passage of the pipe.

  • Publication number: 20160319770
Abstract: A valve cover assembly for an engine is provided. The valve cover assembly includes a housing configured to receive a portion of a valve train of the engine. The housing includes a top closed end and a bottom open end. The valve cover also includes a front window provided on a top wall and a front facing wall of the housing. The valve cover further includes a front cover releasably coupled to the front window. The front cover is configured to provide selective access to components of the valve train present inside the housing. The valve cover includes a side window provided on the top wall and a side facing wall of the housing. The valve cover further includes a side cover releasably coupled to the side window. The side cover is configured to provide selective access to the components of the valve train present inside the housing.

  • Publication number: 20150219263
Abstract: A dual-walled flange assembly is disclosed that includes a body with an opening that extends through the body. The body further includes a sleeve that extends outward from one side of the body for being received in a fitting. The other side of the body is connected to an outer tube that encircles the opening as well as an inner tube that is received in the opening. An annulus is formed between the inner and outer tubes and at least one through hole extends from one side of the body, between the inner and outer tubes, through the body and at least partially into an outer surface of the sleeve. The through hole provides a leakage path between the inner tube and the annulus disposed between the inner tube and the outer tube.

  • Patent number: 9057399
Abstract: A stub shaft is disclosed. The stub shaft may have an elongated cylindrical body having a base end configured to be secured to an engine block and an opposing distal end. The stub shaft may also have a collar formed at the base end of the elongated cylindrical body. The collar may be configured to be inserted into a cavity in the engine block to guide attachment of the stub shaft to the engine block. The stub shaft may further have an axial bore formed in the elongated cylindrical body and passing from the base end to the distal end. The stub shaft may also have a radial passage formed in the elongated cylindrical body and in fluid communication with the axial bore. The stub shaft may additionally have a thrust face formed between the base end and the radial passage.

  • Publication number: 20150159549
Abstract: An engine block with a first end and a second end is provided. The first end defines a first periphery portion, at least one conduit disposed proximal to a camshaft mounting portion, and a first attachment portion that extends from the first periphery portion to mount a gear assembly. Further, the second end defines a second periphery portion. The second periphery portion includes a second attachment portion located proximal to the second periphery portion that defines a mounting surface for an electrical accessory, a third attachment portion structured to mount a speed sensor unit. A side includes a fourth attachment portion and at least one support pad. The fourth attachment portion is disposed proximal to the first end of the block to mount an oil separator. The at least one support pad is disposed proximal to the first end to mount an engine aftertreatment system.
